2-D's POV

I strummed on my guitar, looking out the window of my room, "Windmill, windmill for the land. Love forever, hand in hand."

"Quiet it down in there!" Murdoc yelled angrily. I stopped playing and sighed. Checking on Noodle, I went to go have a smoke.

I mumbled as I opened the door with a lighter and a box of cigarettes in my hands. Peering outside into the rain, I noticed a girl walking down the street.

"Luv, would yew like to come on inside?" I shouted. She stared at me for a second, then ran inside, saying a little thanks when coming in. "What were yew doing outside in the rain?"

"Just walking home," she said, taking off her dripping jacket. She had goosebumps running up her arms and she was shivering.

"Oh luv, you're shivering," I said worriedly. I grabbed her a dry, warm towel and gave it to her.

"Thanks," she said, ruffling her hair with the towel. She handed me back the towel, her hair a mess.

"What's your name?" I asked, leading her to the living room.

"Y/N," she said as she sat down on the couch. "What's yours?"

"I'm 2-D," I said, giving her a grin.

"Do you, like, wear contacts or something?"

"Oh. No, I don't. I have hyphema in both eyes," I said, she looked at my blue hair next. "The hair is natural."

"Alright, you knob. Who're you talking to?" Murdoc slurred as he walked into the room. He looked at her and smiled, "Who's this pretty lady?"

"Murdoc! Stop it," I whined. Y/N looked at Murdoc puzzled.

"If you want somewhere to stay, you can stay in my room for the night," Murdoc winked.

"I'd rather not," Y/N sneered, her face covered in disgust.

"Tell me if you change your mind," Murdoc said, walking away.

"Sorry about him," I apologized. "He often acts like this. He's probably bloody drunk."

"It's fine," she shrugged. "Actually, if I could have somewhere to stay for the night, that'd be great." She looked out the window to see the thunderstorm becoming worse.

"Yew could stay in here if yew'd like."

"That'd be nice," she smiled.

"And if yew have any trouble wif Murdoc or anyfink else just come to my room," I told her, explaining how to get to my room.

"Thanks, 2-D."
