The Time Has Come

We'd arrive the school entrance both looking down with our hands in our pockets trying not to make eye contact with anyone around us, as I look to my left I see a girl crying outside, curled up in a ball, I tug Edii's sleeve so he could take a look,

"come on" I say while grabbing his arm and pulling him towards the girl

"hi, what's your name?" I say while putting an arm around her

"m-my name is, Oli" Oli would say stuttering

"my names vanessa, and this is my friend, Edii" i'd say while pointing over to him

I look over at her wrists and see self harm scars,

"what is that?" I would say

"it's nothing" Oli would say while tracing her scars with her finger

"okay, if you ever want to talk to someone you can talk to me or Edii or both of us" I would smile at her as I said that

the bell then rings and everyone rushes inside the school building and up the stairs, to their classes, while me, Oli and Edii are still down here, Edii grabs my hands and helps me up, I then help up Oli and we make our way towards the entrance, we all take out our phones to see our schedule, me and Edii are in the same class, while Oli Is in a lower group, we watch her as she disappears up the stairs in a matter of seconds, Edii grabs my wrist and starts taking me up the stairs, to reach our class, as I look up I see a figure which looks like its heading to the roof, I don't say anything though as it could be a janitor or a teacher, which could get us in a lot of trouble, I hear a door open a few floors above us, but I choose to ignore it as it could just be a student leaving the class to use the bathroom, we finally reach the door after half an hour of searching

"maybe we could just skip the rest of first period" he'd say

"good idea"

as I look towards the tiny glass window on the door I see a student heading our way, Edii does too, he then grabs my hand and we start running I don't know where we were going but I didn't care I just hoped it was away from school, we ran out the front entrance, still holding hands, we sit down on a bench a few blocks away, he squeezes my hand, which made me realise that we're still holding hands, so the first thing that happened was, I blushed and let go, but Edii didn't want to let go, and he grabbed my hand again, as we just sat there watching the cars drive past.

Oli's P.O.V  OliIsD4MNh0t this is for you :3

As I dash up the stairs, into the girls bathroom, I receive a message, its from my long distant boyfriend, he asks me 'where are you', I reply with, 'hell, why?' he says, 'where are you in hell? 'school roof, about to end it all' i'd say, he then goes offline, I knew he would, everyone has always been that way when I have problems, I leave the bathroom and carry on going up the stairs to the roof, I reach the door to the roof and feel relieved when I realise its unlocked, once I'm on the roof I start muttering things to myself like,

"Its finally going to be over"

"you're finally going to be free from this living hell"

as I reach the edge of the building, I place down my bag next to me, and look over the edge, I think to myself, 'I hope this is tall enough to kill me', I soon hear the roof door burst open and it startled me quite a bit actually, it was my boyfriend, we're both staring at each other in shock, I start bawling about the fact that he actually came this way, just to see me like this?, I run into his arms and he kisses my forehead gently saying,

"don't worry, I always said when you need me i'll be there and I think now's the time" he'd say while stroking my hair

" thank you for being here" i'd say wiping my tears away

"come lets get you out of here" he'd then put me on his back and take me down the stairs, out the school entrance and into his car, he then drove us to the park, as we sat on the bench he grabbed my hand and I lay my head on his shoulder,

"would you like to go on a date tonight?" he asks me shyly

"YES! YES! YES! YES! YESSS!!" I would say very excitedly

"okay, i'll pick you up at around 8?"

"sounds good to me!"
