Savannah sat on a bench in the middle of a Manhattan park she stared blanky at pigeons as they picked up crumbs of bread, it wasn't a good day, though it hardly ever was. At 22 Savannah was a highly known model in New York and to some that would be something to be happy about, but she longed for something more than the money and fame from modeling. Something that became apparent once finding out it was highly unlikely to concieve; a family. She frowned thinking back to the day that changed her perspective on life. Savannah stood up from the bench and walked around the park, taking in every image of trees, people, laughter and capturing it into her mind. While in her thought process she ended up at her penthouse on the corner of 12th street. Unlocking the door she went in and flopped down onto the couch, she let out a loud sigh. The days were usually lonely her parents were never around due to being in Florida, while she stayed in New York but then again she always wished to be away from her step father and step sisters. The brunette was slightly depressed, often thinking about suicide. The modeling world led Savannah to several bad influences including diet pills, which usually made Savannah sick. She grabbed her purse and took the diet pills out along with some sleeping pills, she took the bottle of water that sat on the coffee table and carelessly gulped down 4 sleeping pills, and 1 diet pill. Things became a blur her vision becoming blurry, she slowly shut her eyes and everything faded to black. Savannah was trying to end her life; it was useless anymore, but life wasn't ready for her to give up.-------

The beeps of a heart machine were heard, Savannah slowly opened her eyes to see white walls, she slowly looked up and noticed a doctor standing at the end of the hosptial bed. He was going over her informationand secretly watched as she slept, he was quite fond with Savannah's beauty. To Savannah, the man was beautiful, dirty blonde hair with blue eyes and a small scruff. The doctor looked up from the board "Ah, you're awake." he showed a smile."Why am I here?" Savannah asked. The doctor spoke "Well Ms. Rochester, you attempted to commit suicide, your neighbor found you on your living room floor hardly breathing and unresponsive." he frowned.Savannah frowned as she took all of the information in, she didn't know why she had took so many pills, she did in a way, but it wasn't worth it was it? "Oh.... I... I don't know why I would do that.." She lied, actually knowing it was the life she was living that destroyed her. "Maybe depression? That's usually why people attempt to do that sort of stuff."he looked at her. "I'm Landon Brooks, by the way. I'm not the actual doctor, but I'm a fellow at the moment.. But I'll be seeing you a lot."Landon smiled at Savannah, he was happy he actually got to speak to her, there was something about her that intrigued him, but he wasn't sure."Oh.. Well it's nice to meet you Landon Brooks.. I don't know if I should call your doctor Brooks? Or Mr.Brooks" Savannah laughed."I'm Savannah, but you know that considering you see my little chart thing." she smiled at Landon. She sat up in the bed and looked out the window, noticing the city lights on now, she sighed.

Landon followed her eyes and frowned, he felt bad that she was so upset, he wondered why she was so upset, but didn't want to burden his patient

"Um. Do you need anything? Bathroom? Something to eat or drink?" he asked.

"No, I'm fine.. I'm sort of shocked by all of this, so I don't know." she sighed. "Can I use the phone? I'd like to call my mom.."

Landon nodded with a smile. "Of course you can." he pointed to the phone and then did a small nod and left the room. Savannah grabbed the phone and dialed her mothers number. The phone rang and rang, but no answer, she frowned and put her head in her hands.

"No answer?" Landon stood in the doorway he wanted to stay around Savannah to get to know her better, he liked doing that with patients.

"Ha, of course not.. My mom is more concerned with sleeping with different men, while my step father works.." she frowned.

"Oh I see, that sounds like an interesting situation." he eyeballed her as he spoke.

Savannah looked up "Yeah.. I just wish I had someone to talk to.. I'm lonely, I have this famous lifestyle, but I honestly feel lonely... I never can trust anyone." she looked back down and let out a loud exhale.

Landon presented a shy smile "Well I can talk with you, if you want? I'm free." he waited for her response.

"I would like that.. You can be my therapist." She laughed. Savannah patted the open space next to her on the bed, Landon followed the motion, walking over to the bed he slowly sat down and looked over to Savannah again.

"Don't you have family here?" he asked curiously.

"Um, no.. I'm from a really small town in Florida, and all of my family members live in Florida. Well, besides my step sisters who live in different states. I haven't talked to either of them in a really long time."

Landon listened and nodded his head, he wasn't sure what to say. He was the only child, so he wasn't sure how it felt to not see siblings. Though Landon always wished he would have had a big brother, it never happened, and in a way Landon was much too selfish to have siblings. Savannah talked about various things, Landon listened to it all; taking it in. Everything she said Landon could relate to, which made Landon more fond of Savannah. She was a patient, but he had a strong feeling about her..
