It's Just a Note

Chapter 4

Ella's POV

  "Attention everyone, my name is Jack Frost. A couple of days ago I dropped a note, on purpose actually. This note is very important to me, it can and will change both of our lives together. If you are the girl with the note, meet me in the garden on the schools roof. If this is you, show me the note. If the note matches, then I win the game. Thank you! I'll be waiting."

  "Oh my goodness Anna!! I'm freaking out. He's at this school right now. He actually wants to find me." My heart starts racing a million miles per hour.

  "Are you gonna go to the garden?" She said in a whisper voice making sure no one can hear.

  "I don't know. What if he doesn't like me? I'm just gonna give it a couple of days and see. I'll email him tonight." And with that the bell rang signaling lunch.

  "Come on. Let's take your mind off of things and go find Percy." Anna said trying to calm me down.

  "Good idea." We started to walk towards the lunch room.

  "EEEELLLLLAAAAA" I hear someone scream. I turn around and next thing I know I'm felt a huge force come upon me. I'm now on the ground.

  "Damn Percy. Slow down!" I mange to say while he's still on top of me. "Get off you big hippo." I'm trying to push him off now.

  People are just staring at us like we're crazy, and might I say, we are!

  Finally I'm up and standing. I no longer have that huge thing on top of me. "What's wrong with you?" I mange to say after laughing my butt off.

  "Ella, the announcement. Him. He's. Here." Percy says still laughing too.

  When he said that sentence my laughing immediately stopped. I started to get worried. He truly does want to meet me.

  "Percy we're trying to take her mind off of things. Please don't mention it." Anna says in a whisper like she doesn't want me to find out.

  "Anna it's okay, he's right, I do have to figure things out. If you don't mind I'm just gonna go eat in class. I'll see you guys later." And with that I left. I waked past the stairs to see the huge line leading up to the garden.

  I guess a lot of people want to see what's so life changing. I see girls crying too because he sent them down. I hope he was at least nice rejecting them. When I got to my class the teacher was in there.

  "Hi Mr. Eaton. Can I stay in here for today?" He looked at me with worried eyes.

  "Yeah of course. Is everything okay?" Mr. Eaton is my favorite teacher. He's always cared about me and stood up to my bullies too. He's like a father figure that I can count on.

  "Yeah everything alright I guess. I just need some time to myself...to think. Thank you for letting me in here."

  "My room is always open for you!" He said with a sweet smile on his face. I look down to the desk I was sitting in. Then I got an idea.

  "Mr. Eaton, can I use your computer real quick?" I ask shyly knowing he would probably say no.

  "Okay, what for?" To my surprise he said yes. He never lets anyone use his computer.

  "Um, I just have to email a...friend?" Okay so that came out like a question. He looked at me with suspicious eyes.

  "Okay here you go." He hands me his laptop and I start to type an email."

  Me: So Mysterious Prince I see the line to the garden is pretty...huge.

Send.

  I know he's not gonna respond. He's too busy dealing with the girls. But then I see a noticing ion on the screen.

  Jack: Well, well, well, mystery princess look who didn't show up.

Me: woah, you actually responded. I thought you would be busy dealing with the girls drooling over you.

Jack: I managed to escape...very carefully.

Jack: why didn't you come today?

I thought about his question for a while. Why didn't I go?

Me: Because I'm scared.

Jack: Scared of what?

Before I could answer the bell rang signaling it's time to head to class. I'm sorry Jack, I'll reply later.

"Goodbye Mr. Eaton, thank you again!!" I say while running out the door. When I was running to class I wasn't paying attention to where j was going. I felt a huge impact on me. I was in the ground. I looked up and saw a guy with Snow White hair and electric deep blue eyes.

My eyes widened as I realized who it was. It was Jack. I quickly gathered my stuff together that had fallen and left without saying a word to him.

I made it to class on time by barely. I sat next to Anna and said, "Oh. My. Goodness."

"Are you alright? Your face is as white as ghost. What happened?"

"I-I um I just m-met J-J-Jack."
