Letters To Louis Tomlinson- All Is Well, Or Is It?

Chapter 13

Courtney's POV:

After what happened yesterday in the store I know for a fact that Brooke is serious about seeking revenge on Stephanie. At first it confused me.

Why me? Why did she go after me instead of Stephanie? That's the person she's after..

But then it all made sense. Stephanie is all about family, that's what she cares about most. If she hits her there, where it hurts most,and she ruins it. Well then Brooke would get what she wants.

"Courtney." Harry says waving his hand in front of my face. I look up at him and I see that he is smiling. "Hmm?"

"What were you thinking about?" He looks at me intently. Never breaking eye contact. "What do you mean?" I know Harry is upset about everything that happened yesterday and I don't want him to know that I was thinking about the incident again, he would feel terrible.

When we got back from the store yesterday Harry couldn't stop apologizing.

-Flashback-

Harry steps put of the car as soon as he pulls into the driveway and goes to the trunk to grab the bags. I step out after a moment, I was texting Niall because he wanted to talk about something.

When I get to the trunk to try and help Harry with the bags I see that all the bags are in his hands and he's already walking inside the house.

Right when I get in the house I see Harry putting away the bags. But I can tell something is wrong, he seems really upset.

I walk over to the counter he was standing behind and look at him for a moment to try and tell if he's upset or angry because with Harry it's always hard to tell. But I just couldn't figure it out.

I lift my hand up and press it to his cheek. "Harry.. What's the matter?" He shrugs my hand off and shakes his head. I don't understand he was fine just a few minutes ago. "I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong.. Come o-"

"I'm not in the mood courtney. Just leave it alone for now!" He has never yelled at me before and it kind of scared me. Harry is sweet, kind, and caring but I guess he can also be very intimidating something I never knew until now.

"I--" I couldn't even finish my sentence I was just so hurt. I shouldn't be, I mean everybody snaps at some point...

But I guess everything that happened and this just all built up and I started to cry. I didn't want Harry to see so I ran to our room and curled up on the bed.

A few moments later I feel the bed dip and feel large hands wrap around my waist, pulling me closer to him. Harry starts combing his hands through my hair. "I'm sorry babe... I didn't mean to snap like that I..." I don't answer I just lay here listening to whatever he's saying.

"I just... I don't want you mad at me. You're my everything Courtney. I care about you so much, it scares me at times. Caring for someone like you... You're perfect and you can find someone who can treat you so much better than I can."

I lift my head up. "Harry I'm far from perfect." He presses his finger to my lips to silence me. "Yes you are.... You're the best thing that's ever happened to me you know that?"

I stare into his forest green eyes and crack a smile. "I don't ever want to loose you. And that's why I was so upset when we got home.. I know that what happened back at the store upset you and I feel awful. If I could go back in time I would have gone with you to that bread isle just to prevent all of this. I love you so much."

"Harry I'm not upset with you. I'm upset with Brooke. She did it. Not you."  I wrap my arms around his neck. "I'm sorry to tell you... But I'm gonna be around for a very long time. Like I told you before, I care about you, about us too much to give it up so easily."
