First Day

Addison's POV

Today is my first day of my senior year. I looked over to my night stand and looked at my phone. I had 5 texts from my best friend, Emily.

(Emily's texts)

EM- Happy Birthday Addy!

EM-Be ready, Aiden and I are coming to pick you up at 8

EM-You're gonna find your mate today!

EM-ADDY! Are you ready?

EM-ADDY! We are outside! Come on!

I looked at the time and realized it was 8:15. Good thing school doesn't start for another 30 minutes. I texted her back and told her to give me 20 minutes. I took a 5 minute shower. Good thing I already had my outfit picked out for today. I put on my jersey that said problems on the front and had the number 99 on it. I put my dark ripped skinny jeans on and I put on my white converse on. I curled my hair and grabbed my makeup bag, my phone and left. "ADDY!" She yelled. "EMMY!" I yelled back. I got in the car and Aiden started driving. I got ready in 15 minutes and decided to do my makeup at school. We got to school with 5 minutes to spare. I went straight to the bathroom and Emily followed me. " Emmy! Help!" I said. She helped me look through my bag for the right colors. After what seemed like forever we finally found the colors and I rushed and finished just in time. The warning bell just rang. I looked at myself and was impressed with what I did in the little time I had. We both walked out and said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. As I entered my first class I smelt a scent. It was something I've never smelt before. I looked around the room and our eyes locked. MINE!

Bryce POV

I woke up this morning and felt a little strange. Something is going to be different today. I went to my car and drove to school. When I arrived at school I was greeted by a group of girls. I walked right past them and went to my usual spot and talked to James, Mason, and Aaron. "Hey guys, does anything feel strange to you?" I asked the group. "No, nothing feel strange to me." Mason said. The other guys agreed with him. "I don't know what it is but today just feels like something is going to be different today." I said. The warning bell rang and we all said bye and left to our classes. I walked into my class and saw Aiden. I walked to the desk right beside his and looked down at the kid sitting there. "You're in MY spot." I said. The kid jumped up and moved to a different seat. " Dude, you really need to be more considerate." Aiden said. I shrugged. " Whatever." I replied. " Do you think today is the day you might find your mate?" Aiden asked. I thought about what he said. That's it! That's exactly why I felt so strange this morning. I might be finding my mate today. Oh gosh! I don't want to fins my mate just yet. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a scent. OH NO. I turned my head to look at where the smell was coming from. I know she knows to because our eyes were locked. MINE!
