What is Today?

Ryan's POV

I got out of bed this morning and was excited. Today is a very special day for me. I got dressed in my jeans, black and white checkered collared shirt, and black Vans. I rolled my sleeves up to my elbows. I felt good about today, really good.

After two hours of nobody saying anything about today I decided I was going to go out today by myself and enjoy today. Of course I hear Emily calling my name. "Where are you going?" She asked. Maybe she has something planned and wants me to stay home. I play it off and do the opposite of what I think she wants me to do. "Emily, I'm not saying home. You can't say anything that would make me stay." I replied. She looked at me and smiled. "Good." She replied and hugged me. I hugged her back and smiled, then frowned realizing what had just happened. Damn it! I thought I was doing the opposite. " OH Ryan! Take Addison with you. She's at home." Emily said. I walked out the door confused on why I have to take Addison with me. I did what Emily said anyways and picked Addison up.

When I arrived at Addison's house she was already outside her door. She got in my truck and smiled. "Somewhere you need to be?" I asked her. Seeing if she needed a ride somewhere. She shook her head. "Where do you wanna go then?" I asked still confused. I guess I'm going to take us to the movies.

Emily's POV

So, today is the day that we celebrate Ryan becoming the alpha of the pack. He thinks we all forgot. He left and I made him take Addison with him so that he doesn't come back early. I am currently finishing tonight's dinner for the pack. I have been cooking since Ryan left. He left at like 10 this morning. It is currently 5 o'clock. I made a salad, mashed potatoes. 3 hams, green beans you know the normal things you would eat on Thanksgiving. I'm just now finishing the dessert. I texted Addison and told her that they can come back in an hour.

After helping set up the decoration in the pack house I HAD to take a shower and change. I stepped into the shower washed my body and washed my hair. I got dressed in a red dress that had lace by my chest and sleeves and a lack belt. I curled my hair then pulled back apart of it to wave through the top of my head. I did my eye makeup and put on any lipstick that touched my hand first. Just my luck it looked good on me. I painted my nails red and did some of them red and white stripes. I put on my red heels and walked to my full sized mirror. I smiled at myself. I was confident in my look. I texted Addison and told her that I was ready for them to come home.

I heard a car door shut and then I heard another one. "Everyone listen Alpha Ryan is about to come in. When he comes in you need to yell welcome home ALPHA!" I explained. After a few seconds the door opened and I saw Addison come in smiling real big. That was good. Ryan came in right after. "WELCOME HOME ALPHA RYAN!" Everyone yelled. I jumped up and down after seeing Ryan's small smile turn into a speechless look. I walked up to him and hugged him. "How was your day Alpha Ryan?" I asked. He smiled. "Well... it was good. It just got better though." He replied. "Good luck on taking over the pack, alpha." I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Madison. "I'm gonna leave you two alone. We are gonna eat in like 30 minutes." I said and walked away.

Madison's POV

I can't believe my mate is finally the alpha of the pack. Wait a minute... that means... I looked at Ryan and he looked at me. I think he knew what I was thinking. "Relax, it's going to be ok. You're going to be a great luna." He said, making me feel better. I smiled and kissed his cheek. He grabbed my hand and walked me to the living room. We reached the front of the living room and got everyone's attention. "I know today is a special day. Not just because I become the alpha. It's because you guys have a luna, my mate. Madison Rose." He said. I smiled and I started blushing. "I love this pack. You guys are my family. I know you guys can accept Madison." He said and wrapped his arms around my waist. I turned around and placed my hands over his cheeks. I got on my tip toes and kissed his lips. "I love you... Alpha." I said. " I love you too... Luna." He said and kissed me. I smiled and thought about how lucky I am to have a man llike him in my life and as my mate.
