I open my eyes to the same bright lights I woke up to a week ago. I groan internally and sit up.
" Oh god Faith. I was afraid you were going into another coma." I hear Ashton say, and I turn my head to see him slouching in the hospital chair next to my bed. I roll my eyes and attempt to get out of bed, but something is stopping me. I look around to see a bunch of cords and stuff attached to me. I face Ashton.
" What in the h*ll is going on?!" I ask him frantically. There are so many cords! He sighs and shakes his head.
" They did tests on you to see how you healed from that cut on your jaw." Ashton sighs and looks down at his hands while fiddling with them. He looks back up at me.
" Faith, they think you are... they think you and your sister are from a prophecy. A pretty serious prophecy." He squirms in his seat uncomfortably and I tit my head. Me and my sister?! In a prophecy?! Puh-lease. I start laughing and Ashton looks at me weirdly.
" Nice one Ash. But seriously, why did I heal from that cut?" I ask impatiently. I wasn't really in the mood for jokes. Ashton sighs and ruffles his hair a bit.
" I am not kidding Faith. You and your sister are in an ACTUAL prophecy." Ashton says while crossing his arms. I roll my eyes.
" Uh huh sure. And what is this 'prophecy'?" I hand motion prophecy. I definitely do NOT believe him. Ashton sighs and shakes his head.
" The prophecy stated that two girls around the age of 10, will be mated to a beta and an alpha king's son. The girl who is mated to the beta will end up fighting a strongly ranked girl of the pack, and finds her powers there. A great war unleashes between the girls mother's huge pack of rogues and their fathers pack of werewolves. the pack of the beta and the alpha kings pack unites forces to defeat the two packs. In the end, the beta and girl end up having a child, along with the alpha king's son and the sister." Ashton says the last sentence quietly while my eyes widen. My sister and I are in a prophecy?! I will have a CHILD with Ashton?! Abby and Chase end up being mates?!!!!!!!! OMFG this is so screwed up. Ashton looks at me while rubbing the back of his head from embarrassment. My cheeks tint a shade of red.
" Ummm.... Er......" I struggled against my words as I tried to process what was going on. Prophecy said ITSELF that I will end up having a CHILD with Ashton! Ashton crosses his muscular arms and looks around the room as if there were anything interesting in it( Hint hint, There is NOT!). I fiddle with my hands and look down upon them.
" So.... you um... want to go to the pet store or something... I thought petting a puppy would help ya forget about all of the... things happening." He asks in his husky voice. I just about melted right there. I nod my head quickly. He stands up and helps me as I take the cords out of my body, along with the needles. I look down to see a night gown on me. I look at him with confusion. I don't remember being in these clothes?! Ashtons cheeks tint red and he looks away.
" I had to.... change you so the doctors could take you in. They were going to put it on themselves but....... but I didn't want to see you in your... ermm.... bra and panties." He says and I nod my head. He is just being protective over me.
Even though he saw you basically naked... A voice said in my head. I shake the voice away and look around in search for clothing.
" Oh yeah! I will ask Abby for some clothing for you..." Ashton says then exits the room, leaving me all alone. From the brisk of my eye, I see some clothing folded neatly in a hidden corner. It was very hard to see it though.
