As the dust of the froggit covered your hand and twig of which you had slayed it with, you felt a sort of satisfaction from killing the innocent monster that you had once befriended. You needed more. It was a brand new adventure that has unfolded in front of you. After all, once you had finished slaughtering all your past friends, finding new dialogue, new reactions, new feelings... You could just reset. It would be as if nothing had happened. You realized that the power to reset that you had could be used in so many new ways.... So many different adventures! And you wouldn't have to feel bad about any of it, because you could just reset. You were above all consequences.
You could feel Chara's horror-filled gaze burning through you as the dust caked your clothes more and more after every death, and the sound of a broken monster soul echoed repeatedly through the long, purple halls of the ruins. You just ignored them. It's not like they could stop you. You walked over to a save point, and pushed your hand into the soft, golden glow.
Usually, Chara would narrate something that talked about your journey in a sort of a joke to lighten the mood. They would always make you laugh. But this time, they just let out a cold, unsettling "Determined." You wondered if how you were acting would effect their mood and actions. You just shrugged it off, and headed forward. You did always enjoy a fresh piece of dialogue.

You entered into a battle, but then you realized no one was there to battle you. You turn to chara for explination. The only words that come out of their mouth are: "But nobody came."

You soon realized that your new journey has truly began.

A/N: hiya! Sorry for the short chapter. I haven't updated in a long time because of how busy I am, so I decided to make this chapter! I finished it at 9:21 (I know it's actually not that late but I'm tired so yeah) so I hope you liked it! Also I'm thinking about making Chara's gender in this story male so I don't have to keep typing "them" and "they" and all those other unidentified gender terms that make it so much harder to write the story. (It's not that hard I just don't feel like doing that) so, tell me what you think about that. Sorry for the long authors note, I just needed to inform you guys about this stuff. Welp, bye!
