I need to be a shooting star
Everyone will need
When they need to wish
For the things they don't have
I need to be a wishing well
Kids will need
A shiny coin
For the things they want
I need to be a fortune cookie
People will need
It be a good fortune
To keep all hope
I need to be a miracle worker
Adults will need
For the hard times
So they won't be in despair
I want people to be happy
When they show they earn it
But they need hard times
To be happier in the end
