Chapter 5 - My big bro and sis

Lilly's POV

I slip on my short black dress for the candle passing big sis little sis ceremony that they told me about yesterday. I also put on my earrings I found inside Luke's shoes.

I wear my beautiful silver pandora bracelet my simple sliver necklace with the single pearl on and my black prada dolly shoes.

I have my hair curled and clippd to one side with my pretty butterfly clasp.

I do my makeup with a simple peach lipstick and a beautiful rose blush and some silver eyeshadow.

Oooh I almost forgot, I run back to my jewellery box and put on my beautiful promise ring Luke got me that I wear constantly.

Done, I grab my un lit candle walk down stairs to the dining room, none of the actives or seniors are here and I can tell because there is no one here with a white dress on, just all the pledges like me who are wearing black knee high dresses and are all holding un lit candles.

I spot Jess "Jess where we're you today I couldn't find you?" I ask

"I was signing up for my classes, I mean I know we have a week before classes start but I like to be prepared, what classes have you chose?" she asks.

"I haven't chose any, well I know my major I have my major," I smile

"What's your major?" she laughs

"Dance, I'm a professional dancer, but about 4 months a go I went for an audition to do a 6 month job as a dancer on a cruise ship and I got turned down because I didn't have a lot I the dance qualifications and stuff so, I looked into some colleges and when I found this one which had the Greek system so close to me I was thrilled," I smile.

"WOW!!" she giggles

"You?" I ask

"I'm a major in politics," she smiles.

"Wow so do you...." I start to ask when suddenly all the lights go off.

Some of the girls squeal and I just silently look around.

Suddenly, all the seniors and actives in white dresses all walk in holding lit candles which light up the room. Silently me and all the pledges stand in a line facing them.

They place their candles that are lighting the dark room on the table and grab some black pieces of cloth.

Poppy starts to go down the line blindfolding all the pledges as the rest of the actives and seniors watch.

I look at Jess and she gives me an awkward nervous smile when Poppy blind folds her.

Oh NO NO NO NOOOO!!!!!Great, everything's gone blank! I've been blind folded, wonderful now my eyeshadows ruined.

"Pledges you must all continue to hold onto your un lit candles as you will now be pared with your big sis, hehe," she says exitedly.

I feel someone take my hand and bring me to a space in the room.

"All actives and seniors that are now big sisters repeat after me," she says

"I stand before you in LippaSiAmma talking to you now as your big sis," he says

"I stand before you now in LippaSiAmma talking to you now as your big sis," all the new big sisters repeat, I hear my big sisters voice louder than everyone else because she's closest to me, I can't tell who it is.

"And as your big sis, I will always be there for you, in good times and bad times, in fun times and rough times," she says and the big sisters repeat.
