We were halfway into the flight now. Taking off actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I just squeezed Justin's hand and closed my eyes. But now Justin was asleep next to me, resting his head against the back of his chair.

The flight attendent kept coming back asking us if we wanted soda, tea, crackers, and whatever else they had. Right now i was writing a short story in my journal, every once in a while looking out my window (since I the won the window seat over rock, paper, scissors) looking for inspiration. I decided to write about the horses back on the ranch. I thought of the idea as we passed what looked like a barn with a bunch of horses. (I couldn't exactly tell because we were so high.)

My favorite horse is a beautiful white mare. Even though I prefer black, I still love that horse. Her name is Dreamer and she definitly was a dreamer. I decided to write about her since she was my favorite horse and she had a lot of background story.

Dreamer is the name of my favorite horse. Frank bought her when she was a 2 years old. She was being abused by her owner and Frank decided that no horse should be treated like that. And that's why her name is Dreamer. She is a dre...

I guess I fell asleep because when I woke up we were just about to land. I was in the middle of my story, but I guess I will just finish it sometime in our trip or on the way back.

We were about to land so I woke Justin up. "Justin, we are about to land," I said as I nudged him softly. I should've known it would've taken more than that. He is a very hard sleeper. He was still snoring but I had to wake him up.

"Come on, Justin!" I said a little louder, nudging him a little harder.

"Wha-where are we?" Justin sweetly asked as he slowly wakes up.

"We're going to New York. Remember?"

"Oh yeah!" He said as he got his memory back. "Are we landing?"

"Everybody sit down. We will be landing in a few minutes," the flight attendent called as if answering Justin's question.

I put my journal back in my purple bag that I brought containing everything I needed for the plane ride.

"I guess so," I said answering Justin's question, laughing slightly. Now, Justin was leaning over me looking out the window. I looked to and the view was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I thought we had tall buildings where I lived but if those buildings were here, these would be towering the ones we have in our state.

We finally landed and I took Justin's hand. We left to find our luggage and then we left the airport. We went to find a taxi because we decided not to rent a car since we could walk to most places.

It didn't take us long to find a taxi since they were lining the streets up and down, waiting for customers. We picked a taxi with a friendly-looking driver. I reached for my purse, containing my wallet but Justin beat me. He had already gotten his wallet out and had paid the man.

"Justin..." I softly groan. He was just to sweet, but I didn't want him paying for our whole trip. I told the man the name of our hotel address and we were there in about 10 minutes.

We entered the fancy hotel to check in and grab our room key. We went up to our room and I had no idea what it would be like, since Justin didn't tell me anything about what we would be doing and what our hotel would look like. We entered room 624 and it was extremely fancy!

There was a flat screen T.V. mounted on the gold-painted walls. There were two queen-sized beds with fluffy pillows and soft blankets. There were two bathrooms, each with showers. There was a small kitchen with a mini refridgerator and an oven, stove, and microwave. And most importantly there was a balcony with beautiful drapes covering the view. I opened them and it was beautiful. You could see just about everything.

There were people roaming the streets with shopping bags up and down their arms. I loved this hotel and I loved Justin. This was the first time I took a trip with Justin and I was already loving it.
