You: Hey Ieman x
Ieman: Hey girl hey x
I smile down at my phone, I just realise now how much I've truly missed my best friend.
You: how's Ireland? X
Ieman: Shit. It's no fun without you lot here anymore. I miss you guys. Xx
I start to tear up slightly, my best friend is in Ireland, has been for the past five years, but even now I miss her just as much as I did when she first left.
You: I miss you so much as well. We all do. Xx
Ieman: I'm sure you guys do. But I've gtg see ya. X
You: Bye x
And just like that our conversation ended, it didn't last very long, but that's how most of ours conversations last. Every time she says she's 'got to go' or 'be right back' She won't text me again. And every time I think how I always start the conversation, a sharp pain hits my chest.
Ieman has been my best friend since square one, she's been there for me every since we were little. But now she's gone and fucked off to Ireland and living life without me. Hoe.

I wake up unwillingly, although today I didn't have any classes, it was still seven in the morning.
Great Griffin, can't you wake up at ten for once in your life. Please!?!
I swing my legs out of bed and jump up, today was Wednesday... Beverly doesn't have a class today. Michelle should have a lecture and so should Alexia. Guess it's me and Beverly day today.
I let out a massive yawn before heading downstairs, I can at least try and attempt to cook pancakes, I'm probably just going to burn them tho.
The sweet aroma of strawberries and pancakes fill the dormitory, I decided to make a fruit salad as well as pancakes, just in case one went wrong. Surprisingly they didn't, and honestly I'm quite proud of myself.
I beam down at the four plates in front of me, each with the delicious breakfast I made. As I continue smiling at myself, three hungry girls slump into the kitchen. Their groans soon turn into grins as they see breakfast already awaiting them.
Remember that scene out of mean girls, the one where she describes the mall at the safari, and everyone was acting like a wild animal. Remember? Because I'm witnessing that scene live right now. And to be honest, I'm very scared.
'Oh my gosh, Griffin that was amazing.'
Michelle moans and licks her fingers for any excess syrup.
'It really was.'
Alexia agrees. I smile at them before looking over at Beverly, expecting some sort of compliment.
'When the fuck did you learn to cook?'
Beverly said bluntly. I don't know what I expected to happen, but it should have been that. I shake my head and take my plate to the sink.'I can cook simple things, things that you just need to flip every now and again and bam, you've made a pancake.'
I say whilst getting a clean towel to dry the pots.
'Oh jesus I'm going to be late, I'll see you guys later as I'm most likely not gonna see you again this morning.'
Alexia says whilst rushing upstairs.
