Arias POV

Why would he say that? I thought things were better between us.
I took some more deep breaths before the doctor interrupted.
"So, who's going first?"
I knew Liam would want to go first if he suggested to go separately, but I'm the mother. I should know.
"Me"
I'd spent too much time thinking, Liam had beat me too it and was on his way out of the room, about to find out life changing results while I, the mother, has to wait with the panick that I'll never see my boyfriend again.

Time was passing and I didn't know what to do. I'd tried to read my book but I was shaking too much with fear. I kept glancing over at the clock, but the time didn't change, it was still only 5:01. I felt around for my phone. I pressed the home button only to find 3 missed calls from Spence. That was unusual; we hadn't talked in 4 years.

"Miss Montgomery?"
I must have fallen asleep. It had been 20 minutes since I last saw the clock.
I slipped out of bed, the weight of the baby slightly pulling me down.
A smile slowly formed across my face.
I was 5 months today.

The midwife led me to a small room in a hidden part of the hospital. I began looking around for Liam but I couldn't see him anywhere. That must mean only one thing.
Ezra was the father.

I caught a glance of a familiar figure out of the corner of my eye. I couldn't quite make out who it was. I began to turn but felt a cold hand on my shoulder.
"Would you like to take a seat?"
It was only the midwife.

She sat me down in a blue leather chair, a typical doctors surgery type. The woman sat by a computer with what looked like exam results placed on the screen. She began to speak.
"I understand you'd like to know  whether Mr. Greene is the father of your baby, is that right?"
I tried to speak but no words came out of my mouth so I just took a deep breath and nodded.
"Well, the DNA results are here and your boyfriend is in fact the father, congratulations."
I couldn't help but be disappointed. But still wasn't totally sure how I felt.
"I-I-I have to go." I jumped up from my seat and jogged out of the room. It couldn't be good for the fetus but I had to run.
My heart was beating, faster and faster. I started to sprint for the fire exit but something stopped me. Someone.
It was a whisper in my ear.
"Follow me." It said.
The voice sounded familiar so I wasn't too scared. I stayed still for a few seconds until I realised who it was.
I turned around to see if it was them.
"Oh my gosh."
