The rest of school passed in a blur. I couldn't concentrate on anything, my mind was filled with thoughts racing to and fro without any semblance. Going home was just a haze of colour and sound, and I sat at my desk in my room, my maths homework in front of me and my head in my hands. I tried to sort out the thoughts but they refused to listen. They slipped out of my fingers as I grabbed them, like warm butter. My breathing grew faster as the thoughts grew out of control.
"Okay, Riley, breathe," I told myself quietly. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. Okay. Start from the beginning, slowly. One thing at a time.
Herobrine was in Minecraft.
Sky, Bajan, Jerome, Sub and I were in Earth.
Herobrine was in trouble.
Herobrine needed help.
We needed to go back to Minecraft to help him.
I needed to go back to Minecraft to help him.
But how?
How could we go back?
Was it even possible?
How would I contact Sky, Bajan, Jerome and Sub?
Would they listen to me?
Would they want to go back?
What if they didn't?
What then?
And if we get to Minecraft...
I stopped myself there. I would worry about that later. First thing's first. Before I contact my friends, I'll have to figure out how to get to Minecraft. If I can get to Minecraft. If it's even possible. Herobrine pulled us to Minecraft by what I could only assume to be magic, so to get there, we'll need magic. And we don't have magic.
Okay, so there's the first problem with my plan. And now I'm thinking of the second problem. How am I going to contact everyone? I could send them an e-mail, but because they're YouTubers, they probably get a couple billion e-mails a day. They probably wouldn't even look at mine.
So how else am I gonna contact them?
My second idea was to call them, but that was stupid. I didn't have their number, and that's not the sort of thing you can find on the internet. Besides, where was my phone? It was something that I never needed and didn't want, so it was probably at the top of a cupboard or at the bottom of a pile of trash. I abandoned my homework and started looking through my room, trying to find it.
Half an hour later, I found it wedged between the back corner of my bed and the wall. I pulled it out and turned it on. Amazingly, it still had power, which is strange since it was an Apple iPhone. (True story) I looked through the various apps I had on it, not bothered to go back to my homework. I looked at the weather app, Notes, Spotify, Mail, Clock and Calendar. I opened up my contacts and had a flick through them.

ZNothing. I closed it and put my phone down. I had no good way of contacting my friends. I couldn't do this alone, so what was I supposed to do? And who did I call Sky on my contact list? Maybe it was Skylar. But I never got her number. Maybe... Maybe it was... but how...?
