Chapter 11

Hey guys! As promised, I will tell you y update days! Today, Wednesday, Thursday, and maybe Friday and Saturday. I'm sorry about the weird ending where it just says Karen's POV, I thought it typed it but I didn't but it will flow more smoothly now! 

KAREN'S POV

Back in time to the Skype call...

"Would you mind leaving for this? It's slightly odd, y'know?" Sqaishey asked. I nodded.

I left her room and closed the door behind me. Andy came up to me and hugged me. I snuggled under him and whispered quietly into his ear.

"I love you," I whispered as quietly as I could. Beth still didn't know we were dating because your best friend dating your older brother is kinda...weird. Nick poked his head out the door.

"Come in you two lovebirds," Nick said, "It's almost time!" We went into his room and sat in front of a baby monitor. I could hear Beth on the other side.

"How did you get that in her room?" I asked, mesmerized.

"Well sweetie, you guys left us alone in her room. We put a baby monitor by the foot of her table and-" Andy said.

"Shhh, it's starting," Nick whispered.

"Hey Stamps, I wanted to talk about what happened. After watching both Lion King movies and 20 minutes of Finding Nemo, I began to think. I reckon it's going to be okay. Would you mind meeting tomorrow as friends?" Sqaishey asked.

"Yep!" Stampy replied as Sqaishey sighed.

"Good to get that out of my system! See you tomorrow!" Sqaishey said. You could hear her hang up. Nick silently turned off the monitor..

"No. Freaking. Way." Nick said.

I was in shock. "She just friend-zoned him."

"I thought they would most certainly be together," Andy said.

"No way out," Nick said. I went back to Sqaishey's room.

"How was it?" I asked so she wouldn't know I was eavesdropping. 

"Things are good. We are friends," Sqaishey said. I covered my mouth with my hands and feigned horror. "What did I do?"

"Did you just... FRIEND-ZONE him?" I asked.

"I guess you could put it that way. Why is that a bad thing?" she asked, her eyes wide.

"You're stuck. Once you're in the friend-zone, there's no way out," I said.
