Haya's POV:

"So, what do you think?" Walking out into the back garden of the birthday party with Sergio trailing behind me, I turned around and glanced at him with a big smile. Not for me to seem big headed or anything, but I really did feel proud of what Miguel and I had achieved for this birthday party. For months of end we have been slaving away in planning it, and now seeing all our plans put into place has so been worth it. It everything I imagined and so much more.

"If I had a euro for every time you've asked me that tonight, then I'd be an even richer man I must admit." He chuckled, though holding me around my waist and looking deep into both of my eyes. "But no, on a serious note babe, this is absolutely amazing. I never imaged for it to look as amazing and spectacular as it does, I'm ever so proud of you for achieving it all."

"Hey." Giggling as I uttered, I softly poked his nose. "It's not just me you need to proud of, it is Miguel too. Without him I wouldn't even have this job let alone managing to pull this off."

"Uhm that is a good point actually." He laughed. "But Miguel isn't my girlfriend, you are."

A big smile smeared right the way across my lips as a result of Sergio's words, wrapping my arms around the back of his neck with my half empty glass of champagne in my hand. "And I should hope so too, because I'm the only person for you. Always." With that coming out my mouth, Sergio chuckled, not hesitating right in that moment other than to kiss me so softly.

I followed the kiss between the pair of us. It staying soft and meaningful, with smile upon of the both of our lips. The two of us were so into it, showing no signs of breaking away. Well it was like that anyway, until we heard the sound of Miguel's voice in the background. "Uhm, I don't mean to break this little cute moment between the pair of you...but..." He chuckled, as I found Sergio and I breaking away before turning to face him. "But you're needed Haya."

"I am?" I questioned, confused, as he just nodded. "Who by?"

"Well you know the DJ, your friend who's here?" I nodded. "He asked if he could catch up."

"Oh..." I hummed, nodding my head before looking back at Sergio. "I won't be long, spend a little time with Miguel while I'm gone if you want to?" Sergio nodded his head with a smile, as I went in to kiss him softly one last time, before walking over towards where my friend is.

Sipping my glass of champagne as I walked, I noticed that my friend has his back to me while sorting something or other out on his laptop with the music playing loud. So I did not waste a single second in moving my hands around when they were empty to cover his eyes, such a sort of evident giggle coming from me in doing so. "Guess who Ricky?" I said in a low voice.

"Oh...hmm I don't know." He laughed, dipping me around so my hands had moved out of his face. "Could it possibly be Haya? My dearest and oldest friend in Madrid?" I laughed as he in that second said that, wrapping my arms around him for a hug. "It's so amazing to see you."

"Oh you too Ricky, for sure." I hummed. "For sure, it's been far too long." Breaking apart out of the hug I looked at him, a warming and welcoming smile on my lips. "How've you been?"

"Ah me?" He pointed to himself, with me nodding. "Well I've been absolutely amazing thank you, yeah my career has had a sudden boost out of nowhere these last few months now."

"Oh really?" I smiled widely. "I'm so happy to hear that, you really do deserve it."

"Thanks Haya, that means a lot." He smiled. "I would ask you how you've been, but taking in how amazing this party is, not to mention the company." He smirked. "I'd say you're great."
