Chapter 17

I made my way to the garden while Jamie ran back to his room to grab something. The gardens were beautiful, it was inspired by Roman villas so it was a marble square path with marble columns and then in the middle was grass and flower beds. It was beautiful. It was also very large and there were many benches and a small area was virtually a glass room for when it rained.

I wandered to the far side of the grass and sat down on the ground. It was a nice, sunny day as well, ideal for sitting and relaxing outside. A few minutes later Jamie appeared with a large sainsburys bag. 'Hi,'
'Hello KitKat, guess what I brought for us,'
He then lifted a picnic mat and laid it down onto to the ground. I shuffled onto the corner of the mat whilst Jamie put out snacks such as mini sausage rolls, scotch eggs, ready salted crisps, foxes party rings which I hadn't had in ages and some some grapes. Red grapes and not green. He then came and sat down right next to me so as I turned to look at him his mouth was about half a foot away from mine. I picked up a sausage roll and popped it in my mouth. God, it tasted so good as I was craving junk food so badly. That usually means I'm about to start that time of the month, aka in my words 'hell week'.

'So how's your almost over first day been?' Jamie asked. I leant backwards a bit so I could turn opposite him and sit cross legged. 'Well at first I went sort of well until the only person who I could rely on ditched me,' he cut in and said sorry. 'Then I got to know the guy who ditched me's friends and they were amazing. Oh and then I gained myself my favourite band's poster and saw Charlie's abs. Then Charlie walking round wearing my sluttiest bra so my day has gone pretty well so far. What have you been doing all day then?'

'I introduced this cute new girl to....,'
'Wait you think I'm cute?'
'I didn't interrupt you did I?'
'Actually you did but carry on,'
'Then the pretty girl was chatting to all my friends and making them her friends and forgot about me. I went off and did some stuff and sat through the same lessons as the new girl and watched her through every lesson in a non stalker-y way. Then I went to try and explain about the seducer crap but you, I mean the new girl was busy so I left it. Then I thought my perfect chance was to explain to her while having a mini picnic. That is how my day went Kat,'
'Wow, that was a bit to take in. Now that you have the new girl explain to her please,'

He explained to me that he was brought to seduce me as we had so many similarities that the person who assigned the task thought it would go perfectly and the were right. He also explained that seducer doesn't mean falling in love and luring them in and playing on there emotions. That they are only supposed to come across as kind and helpful usually.

After our talk Jamie told me to think fast and threw a grape at me and crazily I caught it in my mouth. That was legit so cool. I instantly threw one back at him and he missed so I laughed and started pelting him with grapes. It felt like that scene in high school musical but slightly different. Then Jamie dramatically fell backwards as if he had been shot and just lay there. I was tired so lay down next to him and rested my head on his chest. We lay like this for twenty minutes as Jam told me a story about his family and how he was born into all the hunting stuff because his parents were hunters and SOCO's. Jamie was an expert cause he had been learning all about hunters and demons since the age of five. His parents didn't think it was appropriate to tell him before then.

His parents had retired and lived a happy normal life now, his mum was a primary school teacher and his dad stayed at home and trained their dogs to do tricks all day long. Suddenly I heard footsteps running towards us. Guess who? It was Charlie and TJ. Thank god Zac wasn't there.
'Ooo la la,' TJ said excitedly.
'So what you lovebirds been up to. Kat, you know Zac is off crying in his room about how you ditched him lol,'
'Wait what?' I said as I sat upright.
'I'm joking, I'm joking,'
They sat down with us and started eating the leftover food.
'We gotta all go change for swimming btw,' said Charlie I between mouthfuls of crisps.
'About that. So do we change into our swimming costumes put a beach coverup over it and meet at the pool?'
'Yep but for guys we just put a shirt on instead of a beach coverup haha,'

'I'm a girl, it takes longer to get ready so I'm gonna go change now. Thanks Jamie,' I ran off back to my room which I had finally figured where it was from most places and didn't get lost to often. I changed into a full swimming costume with ruffled middle and was black. I then also had to take my normal makeup off and put a light layer off waterproof makeup on. I had a beach coverup dress so slipped that on top and slipped on some flip flops and opened the door. I began walking when Charlie came running up behind me and linked my arm onto his. We walked like this all the way to the massive swimming pool where TJ and Jamie were already waiting for us.

The first swimming lesson back after each term was always just being allowed to do whatever we wanted in the pool for an hour and a half. During this fun swimming session is where I saved a cat from drowning?!?
