THE NEXT DAY
LILY'S POVI wake up to the sound of blasting music coming from next door, does this boy have an 'off' switch? I squint at my phone, and realise it's 11:21am. No wonder why it's so light in here! On the bright side, at least Asher has the decency to leave his little rock-out session for a more suitable time rather than in the ungodly hours of the morning. How thoughtful of him. I doubt that he cares anyway.
I slouch out of bed and get straight into the shower, then I head downstairs to get a granola bar from the cupboard, because as much as I love food, there isn't really any point in having breakfast.
Munching through my granola bar, I walk back upstairs and into my bedroom. Thankfully, Ash has turned down his music, and I can only feel the faint vibrations beneath my feet. I must remind myself to get a hearing check sooner or later, because I'm pretty sure I'll go deaf if this carries on. I grab my laptop and look through the regulars, Tumblr, YouTube and Facebook. To my surprise, as I log onto my Facebook, I am bombarded with friend requests from people at school. I must've made a decent impression then. I can't help but smile.
Before I know it, it's 6:20pm and I suddenly remember my 'date' with Asher. I seriously don't know how I never end up late for anything, I always procrastinate and never get things done. One day, the time is going to bite me right in the ass, and THAT'll be a wake-up call.
"Shit," I mumble, I'd better get ready.
I rummage through my clothes and decide on a black tank-top with white jeans, a brown leather jacket and my favourite pair of white converse. I then quickly rush to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair, then I grab my phone from my bedroom and close the door shut behind me - well, slam it because I was in a bit of a hurry.
I dash downstairs sounding like a heard of Elephants, I call to my mum, "I'm just going to a friends! I love you!"
As I open the door, I hear her say, "ok sweetie, have fun!"
I hate it when she calls me that, I love her, but it's a little embarrassing I'm not going to lie. I walk quickly across the lawn and knock on the Green's door. I wait there for around 10 seconds, before someone answers the door. To my surprise, it's neither Asher or Flynn.
"Hello!" A cute little voice called, looking up at me, I crouch down, "I'm Bella, Asher's sister".
"Oh, hi Bella! I'm Lily, is your big brother home?"
Her eyes brighten when she hears my name, she's probably the cutest little girl I've ever seen! I guess it runs in the family... "Ash!" She giggles when she says his name.
I see Asher running down the stairs, and as he gets to the bottom, he throws her into the air and starts tickling her, "what are you doing, Munchkin?" She giggles and squirms to get out of his grip.
"Stop it Asher! Put me down!" She giggles.
"Ok, ok, go and play with your toys, I'll be there in a minute," he puts Bella down and turns to me, running his hand through his messy chocolate brown hair, "sorry about that, she can be a bit of a handful" he smiles, and for some reason, I can't take my eyes off of his perfectly sculpted face. It's mesmerising how perfect he is, no wonder all the girls are over him. He looks at me patiently, like he's waiting for me to say something.
