"Jillian if you could please step on the scale please?"
Dr. Lacey was really nice to me, she was petite and had the prettiest smile I've ever seen.
"Okay dear, you can step off now. Great job, please go to room 2b, I'm just gonna have a quick talk with your mommy."
I walked to my room, and examined the freshly painted blue walls. I heard mommy and Dr. Lacey talking in hushed voices right outside my room.
"Mrs. Morena... Your daughter is 198 pounds. She's only 13. That's not healthy, especially for her height. It says here that she's only 5"2. For her height that's not healthy. You need to put her on a diet. More veggies and get her to interact with other kids. She needs to find an activity or a sport."
That's all I wanted to hear. So I shut the door with a BANG. I looked in the mirror and I saw chubby cheeks, a double chin, fat fingers, a big belly. I wasn't beautiful. I wasn't what society saw as "beautiful" .

As we left the doctors, we made a quick stop to the grocery store.
I went to the cookie and chips aisle,
I turned on my heel and..."OUCH! You fata$$ get the h311 outta my way! Maybe if your mind wasn't on cookies you could watch where you were going."
Pain and embarrassment were all I felt.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry, I didn't mean to step on you.."
I managed to choke through the tears. I recognized him, he was Andrews best friend. Andrew ah he's so nice and cute.
"Uhg get away from me you ugly little pig."
---
The next day at school, I sat down in my seat, as I sat down all the kids who sat in close proximity to me, backed away from me.
I had no friends and no one wanted to talk to me."Ew uhg she's so ugly"
"She takes up the whole table"
"I heard all she eats are cookies and McDonald's, talk about yuck"
I started to cry, until I saw Andrew. He was talking to his best friend, who I managed to bump into yesterday... Literally.
"Yeah man, hey that's her! The girl who broke my toe uhg she's so gross and GROSS"
Andrew stopped him
"Bro stop, she's not gross, just ugly."
