My glass cup full of warm milk sat on the living room table empty. I already drank two others glasses and I'm still not sleepy. It could be the fact that I'm stressing out. But for what? I should be happy that I'm freakig engaged! I'm getting married for God's sake! Maybe I should just try to lay down and empty my mind. That sounds like a good idea...or maybe I should just dri-.
"Mommy?" I looked beside me to the voice of my beautiful daughter. I guess I was so deep in thought I didn't even realize she was up. She looked so innnocent and cute rubbing her eyes and trying to get on the couch.
"Yes Mia?" I said sitting her in my lap. She fit perfectly in my arms.
"I love you mommy. I love daddy, too. Please don't leave me." She said hugging me tightly.
"Baby, what makes you think we'll ever leave you? We love you so much Mia, you mean the world to us. We will never leave you nor abandon you. If I could relive the moment I first saw you, it would be a gift each time. But I also love watching you grow and learn and become more like a little woman." I said smiling at her.
"I'm sorry mommy. I just have bad dreams about you and daddy." She said hugging me tightly.
"Don't worry baby. It won't ever happen. I Promise."
