You know you think your best friend would be happy finding out you're going to have a kid, I can't say best friends because Lacey well she was as happy as she could be. I guess in a way I can understand where Kace is coming from being all pissed off cause he feels betrayed or whatever but it isn't all that big of a deal, Right?
"Look i'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, Kace." I said looking in the mirror
"Kace you gotta understand that's their business, he wanted to surprise us." Lacey exclaimed
"Yeah when would that "surprise" of came? Oh my wife's in labor did I forget to tell you I'm having a kid? Sur-fucking-prise." He said laying back in his seat
"Okay seriously you need to calm down so what he didn't tell you get over it" Brennan said looking back at him
"I bet you knew." Kace replied
"Yeah I did actually it isn't hard to piece it together, he never even had to tell me. Can't you just be happy for the guy? He's going to be having a kid in a zombie apocalypse for Christ sake he doesn't need your crap." Brennan said angrily
"Thanks Brennan." I said shooting him a 'I shouldn't of said anything look'
"You're welcome Axel." He said giving the 'He's over reacting look' "While we are on this subect."
"Great" Kace mumbled
Brennan shot a look at Kace and said "Kipp you are an uncle"
His heart practically dropped "I'm. I'm a uncle. Jessie?"
"Yes sir" I answered
"Axel I want you to be her uncle as well, She seems very attached to you." Brennan said with a welcoming look
I was shocked honestly but that was really a offer I wasn't gonna pass up so I happily accepted, Kace was asked as well it seemed to up his mood a bit. We got to the store split up again Brennan, Kace and I went together and Kipp and Lacey, got our stuff we needed clothes for both kids, food, the essentials. I seen Brennan grab a necklace for Jessie and I noticed him grab a ring too.
"Axel can we talk?" Kace asked
"Of course, what's up?" I replied
"I'm happy for you and Teagan, I'm sorry for over reacting. I guess it's just like, I'll never get that. I won't ever know the feeling you know?"
"It's okay, I'm sure you'll find someone bud." I said hugging him and patting his back
"I hope, I know i'm still young but still it would be nice to look forward to."
"I know" I said giving him a reassuring look "Guys lets move out!" I yelled so they could hear
We loaded up, jumped in the truck and began on our way home figured it would be another smooth ride like yesterday. Yeah well I was wrong zombies fucking everywhere, looks like i'm running some zombies over today woo.
"Ready?" I asked giving them a smirk
"Hell yeah" They replied excited
So with that, we floored it and dude never use the expression when zombies fly around me because i'm the one who will make it happen just ask anyone of my friends. It's freaking awesome it was pretty much like bowling but better.
"You know what its been awhile since I've done" I said parking the car in front of the last zombie "Used my shotgun."
Kace handed me my gun and grabbed his as well, "Ready?" He asked
I nodded in reply and got out "First with a head shot wins!" everyone looked at us like we were completely nuts. We were. We did the normal make him chase us turn around and shoot I of course scored the first head shot Kace got him in the shoulder and leg I only needed one shot but we had two shots why not shoot again? So I shot him in the back, might as well right.
"I WANNA GO NEXT TIME" Brennan yelled when we got in the car "THANKS FOR ASKING."
We laughed "Alright dude" I said giving Kace my gun
"Better hope they don't tell Teagan." Lacey said
"We won't that was bad ass" Kipp replied

After getting home, putting our supplies away and settling in. It was time for my most favorite part of the day, sitting down with everyone watching them laugh and smile, crack jokes and just talking.
"Alright since everyone just knows now, we've decided on naming the baby Elijah Jean, because no matter boy or girl it works." I said looking at everyone and grabbing Teagan's hand.
"Perfect" Lacey exclaimed
"I love it." Brennan added
We sat there for hours just talking and laughing we even played games, Jessie won by default cause she's cute, we were so caught up we didn't hear the alarms go off and the doors caught us off guard when they shut.
"Alright guys I think its time to head off and get started and packed for tomorrow, its obviously kinda late" Lacey said
"Yeah guys I agree" Brennan said looking at her
"Well goodnight guys" Kipp said tipping his imaginary hat
"Night" everyone exclaimed walking to bed
"Hey Lace, can we talk for a second?" Brennan said before she walked out of the room
"Sure, what's up?" She asked sitting down
"Lacey I know we don't know eachother all that much but I was wondering if you wanted to be Jessie's other guardian you know, like, her mom?"
