Beatrice:

After lunch Christina, Will Al and I walk around the Pit when Christina stops abruptly and squeals.

"Geez Chris, what's your problem?" I say as the three of us cover our ears.

"I almost forgot! We need to go shopping for the party tonight!" She screams again and we cover our ears again.

"What party?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.

"Some guy is throwing a party tonight to welcome the initiates. Uriah, I think he is a Dauntless born, invited us." She replies.

"Yeah, I'm not going." I state and walk away, or a least try to until she grabs my arm and pulls me into a dress store. Behind us I can hear Will and Al laughing. I turn around and give them a death glare which just makes them laugh harder.

After an hour of shopping with Christina we are finally on our way back to the dorms to get ready. I refused to buy a dress so Chris bought me a black crop top, high waisted kind jeans

with rips down them and some dark purple converse. She also bought me some make-up and nail polish.

"Christina I don't see the point of wasting our money on all this junk. I'm probably never going to wear it again." I sigh and lay on my bed, only to be pulled up by Christina to begin doing my hair and make-up.

"Tris, you need to stop being so stiff. You're Dauntless now. It's time to grow up. Besides you won't meet anyone with the way you dress." She replies opening up all the make-up.

"And you're not candor anymore so you can stop saying everything you think." I mumble.

"Hey, at least you know I will always be honest with you." She laughs.

"Yeah whatever." And then the torture begins.

Forty-five minutes later we are on our way to Zeke's with Will and Al. When we turn down the hallway where the party is I can already hear the loud music and people yelling. Before I walk in a take a deep breath. Here goes nothing.

Tobias:

When I got back from taking the initiates to the fence I went back to my apartment, only to find Zeke leaning against my door.

"If you're here to talk me about Tris again you can just forget it. I'm not doing anything wrong and I'm not losing her again." I say unlocking my door and walking inside.

"I wasn't even going to bring it up." He says throwing his hands up in defense and following me inside.

"Then why are you here?" I ask crossing my arms.

"I'm throwing a party tonight." He smirks and I just roll my eyes.

"Well have fun, I'm not going." I state.

"Okay. But just so you know Uri told me that Tris was going to be there." With that he leaves. I stand there for a second shocked that Tris would be going to a party. But there is no way I am going to let her be there alone with no one to protect her. Dauntless parties can be pretty crazy and I'm sure none of her friends warned her about it. She can still be a little naive when it comes to certain things. No matter how Dauntless she seems, there will always be some Abnegation in her. The thought makes me smile a little and shake my head.

When I get to Zeke's the music is already blasting and he is already drunk. I walk into the kitchen and grab a beer. While I'm waiting for a Tris I talk to Shauna. About ten minutes later a couple of the initiates walk in and then Tris walks in. I have to do a double take so that I make sure it's really her. She definitely doesn't look Abnegation tonight. Christina says something in her ear that makes her look at me and blush. I set my beer down and walk over to them. Before I reach them Christina walks away and Tris smiles at me.

"You know you are making it very hard to hide our relationship by wearing that outfit." I whisper in her ear.

"Is that so?" She says smirking.

"Yes." I reply.

"Well now you know how I feel during training." She winks. I look around to make sure no one is looking and grab her hand, leading her to a more private place. "Where are we going?" She asks. I just look back and smirk.
