After bearing through a boring ass lecture in Chemistry, I waited by the door for Gordon. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely in love with Chemistry and the way things go boom..but today's lecture was based purely on things I already knew and had come to love.
As I leant against the wall contemplating whether or not I should just leave Gordon, he walked right by me. As he passed, our shoulders brushed and I couldn't deny the shudder that I felt throughout my body.
I was caught in a daze, staring at his retreating form until Gordon The Idiot showed up, snapping me from my daze whilst smiling goofily, "Hey bestayyyy...guess who just got help from the hottest teacher in this schoooool?...I'm gonna give you a hint...he's the coolest guy you know and you love him with all your heart."
I looked at him and and smirked, " I dunno...Brendon Urie?"
His smile faltered and he knocked me on the back of my head, "No you shitface. T'is moi. Gordon The Great."
"I was actually just thinking something along those lines," I smiled innocently up at him.
"Really? Please fair maiden, do tell," he gazed at me.
I giggled, " T'was none other than Gordon The Idiot, of course sir."
He shook his head and frowned,"Ye bastard"
I opened my mouth to reply with a smart ass comment when the late bell rudely interrupted me.
"Time for the Hell that is gym," I sighed.
"Aye," Gordon replied and he slung a hand over my shoulders and we scurried to Gym.***
I walked into the Football Field, wearing my Gym uniform which consisted of a black pants, and a white tee for both boys and girls. It's quite silly that they make us wear a uniform for Gym but not for everyday school.
I walk over to where Gordon was lying on the grass, squinting at the sun. I sat next to him and started tugging at the grass blades. He sat up and stared at me. I knew what that look meant.
"Oh God. You've been thinking again, haven't you?" I put my head in my hands ruefully.
"Yes. Listen to this Soph. Why aren't we able to see the other planets as circles from Earth? Other than with a telescope, we see them as little five pointed things. On that note, if we are so sure that stars are so far away, how are we so sure that they have 5 points? They can have one million points each! And what ab-"
He was thankfully cut off by Coach blowing his whistle which signals that everyone should line up.
"Okay, so I've chosen a partner for each of you at random," Gordon and I glance at each other, "And I'll just clear up that you most definitely will not be paired with your friends," Coach glares at us and I frown, "This partner will be the person who you will work with for the rest of this semester. Your grades will depend on each other's effort. Today's activity, Football, will count for 10% of your grade. It doesn't matter whether you win or loose, just that you execute everything that you learnt last semester perfectly. Okay let's start.
Gordon and Kristy."
Gordon looks at me and mouths score as he jogs over to his partner.
Maybe I might just get lucky.
"Sophia and Evan"
Great.
