Chapter 27

Bård's Pov

5 months later

Bella was now heavily pregnant and it was getting close to her due date. Tomorrow actually.

I am really excited! I'm going to be a dad soon!

I was sitting on the couch with Bella and talking about if the baby was going to be a girl or a boy. We haven't had an ultrasound. We wanted it to be a surprise.

Bella painted the guest room with loads of animals. I never knew she could draw that good even though she could only draw cartoons and anime.

I looked back down on Bella. I really want to marry her! Soon, soon.

She turned to me in shock.

"Bård! The baby's coming!"

I looked at her shock and happiness then helped her up and led her to the car.

I drove as fast but careful as I could to get us there quicker and parked just outside the door.

I helped her back out the car and led her into the hospital.

She got led to a room and I got to be in there.

"Ok! Push!" The doctor commanded and she obeyed. She squeezed my hand and screamed.

It was about 6 hours later that the baby can out. The doctor held it up.

"Congratulations! It's a girl!" He said proudly.

"A girl! A mini Bella!" I yelled excitingly at her and she smiled weakly.

"Not so fast! There's another one!" The doctor said.

"Twins?" I ask surprised. Two babies?

"I'm blaming you for this!" Bella says and squeezes my hand again. I swear she cut off my circulation!

Finally the second baby came out.

"It's a boy!" The doctor said again.

The doctor left which only left us in the room.

"So what should we name them?" I asked and look at her.

"I think we should call the girl Nessa because its Elvish for Natasha which was my mums name. It's her birthday today," she said and looked down sadly at the last part.

"Nessa Ruby?"

"Sounds good,"

We looked over at the boy.

"What are we going to call him?" I asked.

"Samuel?"

I teared up a bit when he said that.

"That was my uncles name," I said. He dies when I was 10. He was my male role model, my father figure, the one I looked up to when I needed guidance.

"Samuel James?" He asked.

"Awesome! Hey, do you think your parents will like me?" I asked with concern. I forgot to mention we never went to Norway because of my pregnancy

"Of course they will!"

We heard a knock at the door and we both turned out attention towards it. Bård went to open it and I looked down at Nessa who I was holding.

I heard them talking but I couldn't understand them. They were talking in Norwegian and I couldn't see who they were.

Soon they walked in and I saw Bård followed by two older people.

"Hello, I'm Bård's mother, but you can call me Helga," the woman said. They were Bård's parents!? Play it cool Bella, play it cool!

"Hello, I'm Bella, nice to meet you," good job! I shifted Nessa so I could shake hands.

"And I'm Hans," the male said and I shook hands with him as well.

"Nice to meet you,"

We told them about the babies and soon enough they left.

"Do you think they like me?" I asked and turned to Bård.

"Of course! They love you!" He replied and kissed my cheek.

Soon enough I found myself asleep once again. I was really tired!
