Chapter 4 - Why?

Hi everyone sooooo sorry that there haven't been any updates in like forever I am truly sorry but I was sick than I had I lot of assignments to do since I'm at the end of third term around week 8-9ish and then there's studying for exams and stuff like that but I do try! For the next couple of weeks updates may be either really small or may not come but rest assured that when I'm on holidays there will be more and plenty of updates so that's enough of my yapping and here's the next chapter enjoy!!

I sat in my bed completely torn apart. Smashing my head to the pillow I said "What the actual fuck, what am I supposed to do".

I new it wasn't right me of all people blushing at the sight of a guys smile. It must be some kind of wizardry I tryed to convince myself. Of course I new it was wrong though. There was NO way a girl like me who absolutely despised guys would like one.

After another half an hour of smashing heads in pillows and telling myself I was wrong. I stood up and skipped down the stairs to the kitchen, it was completely empty and eerie it felt wierd that Molly and Mum were out without me leaving me at home alone. Although it happened a lot this specific time I felt empty and sort of scared at being home alone.

But I just shrugged it off closed the fridge and went to look at the food options in the cupboard. Grabbing a bag of already crinkled and opened packet of chips I walked upstairs and pulled out a novel and started reading since I borrowed the book out yesterday.

It sounded quite interesting when I read the blurb. When I sarted to read the blurb when I first borrowed it, it felt like the words were flying off the page and creating a song in my head. Essentially it was about two people a man and his lover who were the only two people left on the planet and they had to try and find the possible other survivors.

The book had intrigued me so I opened and started reading. The way I read it almost made me feel like I was saying the words under my breathe which to be honest was quite possible knowing myself.

"Aren't you excited that you made school captin sweetie" remarked my mother as she walked around the corner of the kitchen wall. "I guess" I replied through a mouthful of food. "What so it isn't amazing" Mum said sitting opposite to me with a sandwich in hand. "No it is it's just that I didn't you know expect it" I said taking another bite of my food. "Yes, yes I know how you feel we only just moved to this town and you were a pointed school captin after not knowing many people it must have been a little shocking" Mum explained.

Rolling my eyes I said "Yeah right a little. Replying my mum said"I'm sure it can't have been that great a shock". "Whatever, I've got homework to do" I said taking the last of my sandwich and putting it the bin as my appetite had gone down. "Thanks for the sandwhich" I said walking up the stairs before she could reply.
