Confession before confession?

Normal POV

"I totally bet that I could confess to Juvia before you confess to Lucy!" Gray head butted with the dragon slayer.

"Like you have guts!" Natsu protested back. "Yeh I do. Two to be exact!" Mira shook her head. Boys, she thought.

"Fine. But I warning you, I will win!" Natsu smirked at Gray. "In your dreams flame brain!"

"I my dreams I totally kicked your butt!" Gray growled and punched Natsu.

"Oh yeh? Bring it on ash breath!" Natsu punched back and he hit the table. "Dumb cow."

With Lucy

I'm deciding to go to the guild late today, not like my usual self I know!

That's because I couldn't fall asleep last night, thinking of a certain pink headed dragon slayer.

Waking up at my own pace is a sensation, but feels kinda lonely with out Natsu here to annoy me.

What am I thinking, kinda lonely? More like depressing!

Ugh, might as well take a bath to ease the pain. Then start a fresh new day!

Levy said she has some books to give me, hope nothing to inappropriate this time.

I can remember the last time, it wasn't a pretty story I tell you.

Thinking about it makes me have goose bumps.

I don't know why I bother finishing it, it's like a feeling that doesn't want you to leave a book unread kinda thing.

Anyways, back to that bath. I went over and grabbed some clothes and a towel, then headed to the bathroom.

My thoughts leads back to Natsu as I stepped into the bath tub.

Natsu, that name makes my heart race. His idiotic voice soothes me like a melody.

His goofy grin makes my day complete. At that last thought, I knew it! I love Natsu Dragneel!

Should I tell him? Nah! He's dense as a cow (no offence intended).

But what if, what if I can't hold it in? I mean he wouldn't know unless you tell him, right?

Maybe I'll just wait for the right time... Maybe.

After my bath I got dress and headed out of the bathroom and to the opened space of my bedroom.

And someone was sitting at my bed, having a staring with the wall. "Hey Natsu, what are you doing here?"

That's weird, usually I'd be, 'Get out of here!' Or 'You pervert!' And kick him in the face.

"I-I ah, u-um. W-well..." He was playing with his fingers, pointing his index at each other while having a slightest pink on his cheeks.

"Yeh...?" This was awfully weird. "Etto... It's just that you haven't been at the guild... And I was wondering, where you were..."

Wow, he was looking for me? "I woke up late that's why!" I gave him a small smile which made him blush.

Eh?! Does he like me? "Ah, I-I'll see you at the guild?" I nodded.

And he was jumping out of the window when I said, "I love you Natsu!" Really fast.

I heard a crash sound and rushed to the window. Why did I have to say that?

Natsu was hit head first onto the ground. "Natsu!" He got up and looked at me smiling nervously rubbing the back of his head.

"I'm fine!" Blushing madly and ran to the guild.

Awkward...
