Chapter 3{Tobias}

I'm walking through dauntless.

At first,I was looking for Tris,but then I realized that training starts soon and no matter how upset she is,she wouldn't miss it.

So I'll see her then,and I figured she'd want to be alone right now.

I check the time and see that training starts soon,so I head over to the pit.

I'm almost there when my eyes find a shadowed figure in the corner.They come out and it's Eric.

I frown,anger rushing through me.He was supposed to be executed,but was spared as he claimed he was put under controlling serum.

"What do you want Eric?"I ask,trying to avoid eye contact.

"Oh,come on Four,I thought we were friends now?"he smiles.

"Well you thought wrong,"I try to leave,but he blocks me.

"I just saw your little girlfriend leaving the net,"he raises his eyebrows,"trouble in paradise?"

"No,and that is none of your concern!"I spit and walk off.

I reach the pit and sees all the initiates lined up.Me and Tris gave them quite a scare yesterday.

I see Tris walking in,her face showing a mix and tiredness and frustration.

We agreed not to tell the initiated we were dating,so I can't kiss her and stuff till later.

She walk over to me,her hands on her hips."Physical?"

I nod."Listen up!"I shout.

"Everyone find a partner and just try and keep up!"Tris looks down at her feet.I know something's wrong.

After we demonstrate,we leave them to practice and I drag Tris to a corner.

"What's wrong?"I ask,my eyes scanning her.

"Nothing,"she mumbles and tries to walk off,but I pin her to the wall.

"Tobias!"she cries and immediately claps her hands over her mouth.The initiates know her as Tris,but all except my friends and her still know me as Four.

"Sorry,"she months,while all the initiates stare at us.

"Four,or may I say Tobias,what are you doing to Tris?"asks a smart-ass Erudite transfer named Tyler.

I realize I still have her pinned to the wall.I let go.

"Get back to training,now!"I shout.

I turn back to a concerned looking Tris.

"Four,I'm so-"

"It's okay,"I brush a strand of her hair behind her air and we get back to training.
