Chapter 11{Tris}

I step carefully to the door.It's 4 am,and I'm going to see what is outside that wall.Tobias is asleep,but one sudden move and he could wake.

I gently twist the door knob.It creaks a little and then it's open.I step out,blow Tobias a kiss and close the door behind me.

Guns,harness,hook,picture of Tobias,I seem to have everything.

I take a deep breath and start running towards the wall,gun in hand,harness already on me.

I see some factionless guards and shoot them in their legs.I don't really want to have to kill anyone.

I'm almost there when I feel a sudden and sharp pain in my shoulder and fall to the ground.I fall and an angle and twist my ankle.

Making a yelp in pain,I turn my head and see Evelyn,holding a gun.They're about 20 guards with her.That little brat shoot me.

"E...Evelyn?"I get out through my pain.

"Oh Tris,is it wrong that I knew you were going to do this?"she smiles.

"I don't understand....."I try and get up but can't.My ankle is officially broken and I'm loosing blood fast."You see,I don't want anyone going over that wall,so I can tell you my secret now,because once I'm finished with you,you'll be as good as dead,"she walks up and stoops next to me.

"So,Erudite is innocent,it's me,anyone who tries to cross,"she puts her hand to her throat and motions that she is cutting it,"dead,death serum to frame Erudite."

"My mom...."I stagger my way back,away form her.

"Yes Tris,she was trying to cross,I don't know why,but she was,so was your dad,but I wanted to leave you with at least one parent,so I used memory serum on him,so he doesn't even know what happened that night,only that your mom went out and got herself killed!"she spits it all out.

"You little....."I shoot up and instantly regret it,pain shoots up my leg and shoulder.

"Ugggghh,"I yell and fall back on my butt.

Evelyn raises her gun and aims it at my chest.

"You know Tobias wouldn't be too happy about you,"I cough,not just cough,cough up blood,"ah,killing his girlfriend."

"Well I don't really care,I never liked you anyways."she goes to pull the trigger.

"Well,if you don't like her that's okay,but we do!"a voice interrupts us and I instantly recognize it.Uriah.And then he is with the gang and Tobias.
