I awoke to a random girl sleeping a few feet away from me on the ground. A blanket had been laid over me and a pillow under my head. Confusion lit all over my face.  What the bloody hell? "Um... Excuse me miss? Uh.. What's going on exactly?" I tried to speak to her but all she did was groan in protest. I got up and poked her. She slapped my hand away and stared at me. Sharp brown eyes looked at me with a hint of red in the middle. Eyes of a crazed person.

"You're a fool girl. You should not be sleeping in this forest alone at night. So I sat here and made sure you were okay." She spoke viciously with the mouth of someone who's seen pain and didn't come back out from it. I tilted my head to the side just a bit. The girl was up on her feet in an instance, apparently the movement had set her on edge. She's so fast... I wonder if she decided to attack me, would I live? The girls black hair swayed in the wind wrapping and catching all over her face. Her face angled, awaiting her next kill, had rosy lips, chapped from the heat of where she must live.

I cautiously took a step back and she triggered. She quickly before I could blink had my dagger. "If you thought I would hurt you, then you are deadly wrong. I am not a sinister. I can not say that for my brotherhood or sisterhood. What are you doing in my forest?" I blinked. Her forest? Was she insane? Her family's full of sinister people? What if this is a trap and she kills me or worse... eats me? Oh dear lord in all that is holy. Please don't let this crazy person eat me.

I could barely respond, nor did I know what to say. So instead I asked "Why are you so unbelievably fast?"She wrinkled her nose.  Silence. Nothing but silence. The leaves in the trees singing their melody. Birds in the distance tweeting their songs. Animals running around and their soft paw noises. But not a sound from this wild female. Not a single peep. I sighed, a small noise that sent this girl into a laughing fit. I blushed. What is she laughing about. Did I do something embarrassing? Oh god.

Her laughter turned into a smirk. "I like you. Come with me. My brothers and sisters will take care of you..." there sounded to be a bit at the end of the sentence.

"For what price exactly?" I spoke cautiously and quietly. She heard all the same. Her smile faded. The light in her eyes duller. Somehow she looked smaller. And believe me she was unbelievably already small. Maybe 4 foot 5. Some small curves. But her face led me to believe, she was around my age. She stopped looking towards me and stared at the ground as if calculating something in her brain. Her head spiked up and a grin plastered her face.

"I GOT IT!" She screamed excitedly, "You can just clean with me and cook food and...." she cut off short as a bird started chirping. Her head snapped towards the noise and she pounced off in a flash her black hair a blur as the rest of her body was too. Jesus Christ. I better get out of here, honestly this girls gonna like fry me and then lick my meat off my bones with a grin on her face. My imagination started to get carried away as hands pushed me to the ground and a body tackled with mine. Panicking I shoved my elbow into the body but whoever it was, was way too fast for me to actually make an impact on. Then black hair went over my face and a familiar voice that was speaking to me two seconds ago said "You can be trained too, your reflexes are great. You're an abandoned right?" She emphasized the word as if there was more pride in that than in being royal.

An abandoned was someone who was thrown into this forest by a guardian or parent who no longer had need of a child. If I look so disheveled as to be mistaken for a gosh darn abandoned then good lord minus well take me now because I am a princess and should look like one. I grunted with her still squashing me to the ground, but would telling this stranger, faster than me, and probably wants to eat me, that I'm the princess be a good idea? Probably not. "Y-yeah..." I stuttered not wanting it to sound like I lied. But who knows maybe it did anyway.
