/I guess you know which song you should be playing now (Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star)/

They had been walking through the dark corridors for a while, the only thing they had to watch their step was Mark's flashlight that was integrated with his plasma cutter, looking for an exit because when the alarm rang. The building sealed everyone on it.

"Why would they add a system like that?" asked Mark. "They let die several people for... Which purpose?"

"I don't think the sealing is for us, but for those... "things"." Said Alex.

"Of course is for them, you saw what happened to the guard when this crazy bullshit began." Joseph added.

"Still, we can't be always like this, we need protection." Said Jessica freaked out. "It's very scary to be here"

During the walk, Joseph noted a room in the corridors which was operating with a light on. "Why don't we check that place?" Asked Joseph. The rest looked between themselves and nod in approval. Step by step was the only thing that could be heard added the sound of the breeze of the ventilation. Suddenly, just like a scremer, a Slasher jumped the heck out of no where. Everyone backed off refusing to scream except of Jessica, in the same moment, Mark shot to the slasher's head, killing it. Then, more slashers appeared.

"Quick! To that room!" Mark signed. Everyone sprinted in direction of the room with the savage beasts behind of them. The door's sensor detected their presence and opened inmediatly, letting everyone pass quickly, leaving the creatures outside. The growls of the slashers noised everywhere.

"I can't hold it anymore!" Jessica cried.

"Yes you can! " Exclaimed Joseph. "We are all leaving this place alive, at any cost."

The growls of the slashers stopped and the silence returned inhabited by the light of the room. Jessica was hyperventilating while Joseph was trying to make her calm again. Mark was checking the room's perimeter, Alex was investigating some boxes that were left in there.

"Guys," Called Alex. "I guess you want to check this." He said as he pulled out a bracer.

"What is that?" asked Jessica disconcerted.

"An stasis module" He said at the time he wore it and connected it to his RIG.

"Stasis module?" asked Joseph. "You mean that speed breaker?" specified.

"Yes, there are many of those things here." he said as he picked up more modules.

"Finally, the luck is smiling us." Mark said as everyone connected the stasis.

"So, how does this thing work exactly?" Joseph asked. "I've seen them, not used them." He explained.

"It's simple!" Exclaimed Jessica. "You only have to press (Speed Breaking) or press/hold (Pick Up) the button between these two fingers, aiming to the objective." She explained referring to a button which was located in the distal phalanx of the glove's index finger.

"Alright then, now, we need weapons." Joseph added.

"Not necessarily." Interrupted Alex. "This modules may be used to take an arm from those things and throw it back to them." He explained.

"Maybe you are right." Said Mark. "It will be helpfull when we are out of ammo, but you still need real weapons, I guess in the next room they have plasma cutters." He said as he proximed to the door.

"Please be carefull, Mark." Said Jessica frustrated.

"I'll go with you. Jessica, Alex, remain here until we're back, ok?" Said Joseph as the door opened and left the room with Mark.

The darkness filled everything that the Mark's cutter was not flashing. The creepy silence of the whole zone filled everything. The cold was felt and only thinking about one of those things being around made Joseph shiver. Suddenly a creaking sound noised, Mark and Joseph got closer and closer as the noise became louder. Once in the place, they found out that it was a damaged door opening and closing consecutively.

"We can't cross with the door in that state," Said Mark. "It would chop us in half." He added.

Suddenly a crack was heard, it wasn't from the door, but from the corridor. Slowly, Mark pointed in direction to the corridor, just to see an slasher hatching from a big egg which was on the ceiling. It didn't even hit the ground and began to growl producing a louder noise. Inmediatly, Joseph shot a charge of the stasis to it and then the slasher began to shine blue and its speed broke. Mark did the same with the damaged door, and the same way, its speed broke so they could get in, and that's what they did. Once in, the door recovered its speed as so the slasher, which got chopped trying to cross the door.
