Chapter One - Hayley

(WHOLE CHAPTER IN HAYLEY'S POV)
I woke up at 5:24. Ugh. My mom says "It's too early to be awake" I mean, I start school at 6:55, and a "good time" to wake up is 6:15. I need my free time. "I'm not tired!" I whisper yelled. I decided to use my and my 3 little sister's iPad that we share. My mom says we can only use it for 30 minutes each. I know what you're thinking, she's over-protective. I get bullied in school because of it because I can never hang out with my friends after school, go to birthday parties, etc. It's not fair. I turned on the iPad and went to notes to see what my sisters typed (Btw Hayley has younger triplet sisters and Annie is an only child)
Savannah's Note:
Mommy and Daddy are so over protective! Most 9 year olds my age have been to at least five birthday parties. Not me. I haven't been to one. Not even my older sister. Our mom doesn't let us have parties. It's good because no one likes the Swenson family at school.

Sharon's Note:
I HATE my parents!! I can't do anything after school. I wanna do gymnastics but mom's to scared I'll kill myself. She needs to loosen up. I have never had a playdate. My mom says "You'll get in a fight with your friend, then her mom and me will get in a fight!" I would love to have a playdate. A birthday party. I have NO friends. Everyone bullies me, Savannah, Samantha, and Hayley. It's not fair.

Samantha's Note:
I HATE MY PARENTS!! I WANNA DO STUFF BUT THEY NEVER LET ME!! I WANT THEM TO DIE, HAYLEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF ME, SHARON, AND SAVANNAH. SHE WOULD BE NICE. I HOPE YOU'RE NOT READING THIS, ELIZABETH MARIE SWENSON JOHNSTON AND STEVEN MATTHEW SWENSON

The notes made me sad. It's sad my 9 year old sisters (and me) are getting bullied everyday. I have to wear pigtails and little kids clothes. I have to wear tight dresses with nursery rhyme stuff on them. I hate it!! I can't even have no car seat or sit in the front, I have to have a booster seat, that squeezes me to death. My Mom throws hysterical fits when I fall and don't even get a cut. Once I fell, it didn't hurt and my Mom was crying like I was dying. It didn't hurt. Not a little bit. I wish I would've punched her.
6:00
I gotta get back in bed!! Mom wakes up at 6! I went on my bed, and looked at my wallpaper. Baby stuff everywhere. Most 11 year olds have posters of TV stars, etc. I have posters, of Humpty Dumpty. I'm not a baby. You gotta accept the fact.
6:15
Mom comes in my room, and walks to pat my back super gently to wake me up. Before she did, I jumped in her face. She started screaming like she was on the edge of a cliff and about to fall. The good thing about having over-protective parents is, you never get in trouble!!

"My bus is here!!" I yelled, not even saying goodbye. "Remember, don't sit by strangers!!" She yelled to me and the triplets. "Oh look, the Swensons are here!" One boy called out. Everyone booed. I started fighting back tears, when some girl said "Crybaby!" "Mr. Bus Driver, can I switch buses?" Us 4 took our spots in the back. Today Samantha sat next to me, and Sharon and Savannah were on the seat next to us.

S: Aren't Mom and Dad over protective?
H: Yeah. I get bullied because of them.
S: Same. I just wanna run away from them.

I nodded in agreement.
At recess
Me and the triplets sat on one of the benches. No one wants to play with us, and Mom doesn't let us play because she's afraid we'll get hurt. Why is she like this? She had one kid before me, and lost her because she fell off a slide, so she's making sure we won't die or get our feelings hurt. Nice try, Mom. I get my feelings hurt everyday. "Imagine what life would be like, if our parents loosened up. A tiny bit!" Sharon said. We all nodded. Then a girl came up to us. "Shit," I said in my head. "You guys are all wearing baby clothes, and baby hair. And you act like babies. You cry all the time." She said. Then the triplets started crying. Then I did something I never did before. I stood up, and punched her in the face. "Woah," The kids nearby said. "Hayley Noelle Swenson," The principal said.
