The Family
Seraph stared in wonder at the marvelously generic office of Guildmaster Infinity.
Umbra sat in front of his desk, filling out the paperwork necessary for Seraph to join Silver Moon. Meanwhile, Seraph was enthralled with Infinity himself.
"I believe this is all," Umbra said, handing the fae a stack of papers.
Infinity took the paperwork within his telekinetic grasp, levitating the paper over his desk. Seraph tugged on Victor's sleeve, staring at his display of magic.
Without even looking, Infinity opened a filing cabinet behind him, tucking the papers away in a folder Victor assumed was designated for Silver Moon.
Infinity winked, extending a hand to Seraph. "You're now an official member of this guild. Congratulations."
Seraph's eyes sparkled. "T-thank you, sir."
"Two humans, two spirits, a fae, and a demon, huh?" Infinity mused, shaking his head, "You six are the strangest family I've ever seen."
He's right, Victor thought, glancing at his family. We are pretty strange.
His eyes crossed over Umbra, who was scolding Aunora as she threatened to knock over a precariously teetering stack of papers. Matthew was sitting on Infinity's desk, calling for the guildmaster to look at the cat photos on his phone. Esper was frantically try to keep everyone together.
Victor smiled. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
