It was a nice and warm sunny day in beach city as Birds flew by the view of the crystal gems fortress. Steven walked over to garnet ''hey do you think?..., steven hesitated to show garnet the brand new tuxedo greg had bought him for his date with connie tonight.''Yes it's very nice steven connie would love that outfit'' garnet chuckled. Pearl walks in the room and notices steven holding out a tuxedo. ''Umm steven whats that for?" Pearl asked in a suprised and excited manner,''well im going out with connie tonight to a ball near her house'' steven smiled at pearl.Pearl grined ''well thats wonderful! this requires more adjustments steven, I mean you would need help with presents and flowers and-"Pearl he'll be fine steven knows whats hes doing''garnet had cut pearl off on the help. Just as they were talking amethyst woke up on the kitchen counter,"Hey whats all the ruckus guys?...Mmm never mind'' said amethyst feeling a little annoyed and went up stairs to sleep on stevens bed.Pearl rolled her eyes at amethyst's little act then turned around towards garnet "Well Im going to a late night party to get to know some more wonderful people in beach city although its a fancy party, so I would have to dress up properly'' pearl looked bold and proud of herself for having the courage to go and meet others at a fancy night club party supposedly. "What about you garnet got anything special going on today!?" Steven asked excitedly, garnet leaned against the kitchen counter and looked at steven then pulled down her shades a little "I got a date with myself"she said grining at steven. "Whoa-ho-hoo I get your drift!" Steven chuckled! while holding his stomach,"well I hope your day turns out awesome'' steven says in a cheeky way. Amethyst happend to be awoke the whole time, she couldnt get any sleep with so much excitement going on and while up stairs she had overheard what was going on. Later on that evening steven, peal, and garnet were getting ready to go meet up with there new found interest...well that was for pearl.It was now around 8:00 and three of the crystal gems "Were heading out now, "ameythest take care of the fort for us,'' garnet said while flashing a grin and straightening her shades to ameythest sitting on the stairs. Amethyst had a bombed look on her face as her arms laid across her lap just looking down at the side of the stairs. Steven was about to leave out with pearl and garnet when he noticed amethyst sitting in a pooped out position, "Hey amethyst?!,you ok?'' asked steven with a somewhat worried exspresion. "Ye-yeah im fine..I just need ta eat somethin.." said Amethyst as she looked away from stevens view trying to look as if nothing is wrong."Oh ok then I hope you have a great time too!" Steven said with a smile trying to cheer her up a little as he could tell something was up but he couldn't put his finger on it. "She'll be fine said garnet looking at steven with an akward grin...well at least it looked that way to steven. Garnet and steven headed out the door as for pearl had already left; steven headed towards Connie's house to go pick her up while garnet went off behind a bush somewhere and split into ruby and sapphire, both of them looked up at each other with a sly grin...
