Loners Elijah and Kadlin Allen are lycanthropes- also known more commonly as werewolves- without a pack to call home, roaming the world instead as free runners- and they want it to stay that way. Caught by the agents of an organization called EVEREST, an agency designed and created to protect werewolves without packs and without mates, the two siblings are placed in a foster home until they find both of those things that will make them complete.That is, until Alpha Lycan Harlow and Beta Alice Canidae, the Alpha and Beta of the well-known Liaison Pack, a Pack of twenty nine settled down in the valley that just so happens to be the most powerful and the largest Pack on earth, show up, both claiming to be Elijah and Kadlin's mate.
