My worst fear came true. I mean yeah he's a great guy and all, but his history in this town. Everyone sees him as the drunk who still loves his family at the same time.

He's told me he only drinks on Friday night because Saturday he's off and because he still wants to have a good time before he marries.

He is going to be in for a shock when I have to tell him I'm carrying his baby. I stocked the dog collars and leashes just to pass time. Then I sorted the halters by size and color.

The bell rang above the door. I looked behind me. "Morning Kat. How's your day going?" Zach asked as he walked in. "Boring so far." I told him walking over to the counter.

"Going to need dog food." I rang up the cattle, horse and dog food. "Um I have something I think you need to hear." I said before he could walk away.

"Do you remember when my birthday was?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "It's always been two weeks after mine." He said matter of factly. "Did you go to the bar that Friday?"

He stood puzzled. "Why are you asking these questions?" He asked me seriously puzzled. I showed him the test result paper from the test I had to take at the doctors office.

"Are you saying that I got you pregnant?" He asked with a cold look in his eyes. "It's a complete possibility." I told him. He just walked out without another word.

Zach's POV
I did go to the bar that Friday. It is a possibility I did get her pregnant. If the test results are true she's got my child growing inside her.

I'm not mad or disappointed with myself, I'm completely shocked that this may be a reality. I got back to the ranch and unloaded the feed into the feed room.

My brothers would say I screwed up big time if they hear about it. They know Kat and how sweet she is, she's nothing like her cousins at all and the whole town knows it. She could say she's not related to those Edwards and people would believe her.

Kat's POV
I finished restocking for the night and taking inventory. The look on Zach's face was still embedded in my head. What if this really is his child? What would happen if my entire family found out?

How would his family react?

I got out of bed and got dressed for church

I got out of bed and got dressed for church. Every day since I found out I'm going to have a baby I've been praying to be forgiven of what happened that night.

When I was done I got into my truck and drove to the church. I pulled up and parked in my usual spot. Then went inside for service. Forced to sit by Jasmine whose phone kept vibrating the entire time.

Finally when she wasn't looking at it I took it and hid it in her mom's purse. Now she could possibly pay attention to the pastor for once.

She looked down where her phone was. Then started to panic. I'm pretty sure she can't live without her phone to save her life.

Once service was over I walked out after talking to Maggie. She told me that Buck and Ali had a baby boy this week. I smiled and went out to my truck.

"Kat. Are you sure that I could be the father?" Zach asked coming up to me. "Who else? Everyone knows who I hangout with and that most tell the truth. Pretty much my best friend saw us both go towards the bathrooms and came back an hour later." I told him. I could tell he was still unsure about it.

"How about we have a DNA test done after the baby is born and see if you are the father." I asked. "I guess that's the best option for now." He mumbled before walking off. I could tell he was scared of this. I was too. I wish I knew exactly who the father was of the baby.

When I got to my house Cash was parked outside. "So what's up with you and Zach?" He asked. "Nothing. Go home Cash." I told him. I went in and locked the door behind me.

"Kat you can't stay locked up in your house forever." He yelled as he got into his truck. I sighed and watched as he left. Once he was gone I changed my clothes and ate lunch.

Then went out to the barn for my untrainable horse. I'm definitely going to have to ask Zach if he can train Jericho for me. Next time I see him. I walked him several times around the paddock with just a bridle on his head.

He hates saddles and weight on his back. Once I was done walking him I brushed him out and stuck him back in his stall.

I changed for evening service and went back to the church. When I arrived I immediately saw him talking to one of his friends. Maybe later after service.

Zach's POV
I was talking to Gabe as she pulled up. She glanced at me then went inside. Somethings up and I can tell it's not about the pregnancy.

I went in and sat next to her. She's basically a friend if that's what you want to call it. "When your done training your niece and nephew's horses could you please train mine?" She asked before service started.

"I'll look into it." I told her. No one cared that I was sitting next to her in church. Her father and her uncle are two very different men. Meaning their children too. Cash loves hanging out with Sawyer while she has nothing to do with him.
