{20} The sunrise

Katelyn's P.O.V
"Morning beautiful" I hear a voice say. "Wha.." I open my eyes to see Travis, "Hey, what time is it?" I ask him "4:15 in the morning" he says. "WHAT!!WHY ARE YOU WAKING ME UP THIS EARLY!?" I yell at him. "Cause it's our six month anniversary and I wanted to give you your gift, now get dressed and get in the car", wait it's our anniversary? I completely forgot!!! I'll text KC when she wakes up to get him a present so I can say it's from me. I get dressed in sweatpants and a t-shirt cause I'm to lazy to look nice. "Travis where are we even going" "I told you I'm go ing you your anniversary gift! stop asking so many questions!" he said with a smile. I must have fell asleep in the car because when I opened my eyes we were on a beach. "Travis, now can you tell me where you taking me" "Soon, I promise", we started to walk and he covers my eyes "When I get to three I'm gonna let you see your present, okay?" "ok ok hurry up!!" I said laughing. "1........2.........3!" he moved his hand and what I say almost made me cry, it was a picnic by the water at the sunrise. "T-Travis, this is beautiful" I said with a huge smile on my face, "Sorry I had to wake you up early, it was the only way that this would work". "It was so worth it" I said to him and kissed him, we sat down and ate the food that he brought with him and watched the sunrise. I look at the time, 6:13 "Travis, what day is it?" "Tuesday, why" I jump of the blanket "CAUSE WE HAVE SCHOOL TODAY AND WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!" I yelled, he quickly got up and we both started running to the car. 6:52. "TRAVIS WE HAVE 18 MINUTES UNTIL THE GAYES OPEN, HOW MUCH LONGER?!" "UM I THINK LIKE 10 MINUTES!". I started to relax a little knowing that we would make it on time, if there was no traffic "Um Travis, do you think we're gonna make it on time?" "nope the time is 7:06 and the gates open at 7:10" "ugh second day of school and we're already gonna be late" I said. "Did you at least enjoy your present?" he said, "All of it, thank you" I said and kissed him on the cheek, "Don't kiss me right now I'm driving!" he said laughing, his laugh makes me laugh so we both started to laugh. 7:08. Travis was pulling into the school parking lot, "TRAVIS WE COULD MAKE IT HURRY UP!" "OK OK!". After he parked the car the time was 7:09. we ran up to everyone who was waiting to go inside. "Guys there they are!" Laurence yelled "What the heck Katelyn, me and Kawaii~Chan have been looking for you since 5:30 in the morning!" Aphmau said. "Doesn't matter where we were all that matters is that we're hear now. right?" Travis said. "Yeah I guess so" said Garroth. The bell finally rings and me and Travis go to my locker since he never uses his. "That was close" I said to him "Yeah, I know" "but it was worth it" I said to him and smiled. "Every bit of it" he said and kissed me. "Happy anniversary".
