"Isn't it funny?" The girls says, placing her tea back down on the plate.

"Isn't what funny?" Vastra asks.

"I don't know your name or what you look like, but I still feel myself to be falling in love." She looks down at her small hands, slightly embarrassed.

Vastra is quiet for a moment, not sure of what to say. What would Jenny say? Vastra smiles a little upon thinking of Jenny.

"Vastra." She tells the girl her name, unsure of what might happen next.

"I'm sorry?"

"My name."

"What a lovely name. I'm called Amelia." Vastra looks at the girl, stunned for a moment. What a small world. Vastra tells herself.

"I once knew a girl named Amelia," Vastra starts, then stops herself.

"What happened to her?" The girl looks at her intensively, her bright brown eyes searching for an explanation.

"I don't really know." Vastra says. The Doctor never talked much about her, he was too broken up about it.

The Doctor, Vastra thinks, I wonder if I'll ever see him again.

The two talk for what seems like hours, until the tea shop closes, about random things. Things Vastra could only tell Jenny, and Amelia has never mentioned to anyone before. Vastra learned that Amelia came from a horrible family who married her off at age fifteen. The man died before she had any children, and Amelia ran away. Her family thought she was dead, and they probably still do.

Vastra mentioned the Doctor, but didn't say anything about who he is. She doesn't want to scare off the poor girl.

They walked to Vastra's house, and Amelia left after walking Vastra to the door.

Three Months Later

~

The last portrait of Jenny has gone now from the living room. Amelia insisted that Jenny will always be there no matter what, so Vastra finally agreed to take is down. Amelia moved in to the mansion, and is an amazing gardener. She fixed all of the projects Jenny started but never finished.

Vastra goes down to the green house, wearing the val on the top of her head, skin showing. She finds Amelia sitting in the dirt next to her cauliflower, whispering.

"Talking to the food again?" Vastra jokes.

Amelia looks up, surprised, but smiles when she sees it's only Vastra. "You know how I am." She looks back down, now smiling at the plant. "I might need to put a bell on you, darling." Vastra chuckles.

"Did you have good dreams last night?" Vastra asks. Amelia has been having dreams lately, but not the good type. The way she describes them makes Vastra a little frightened.

"No," Amelia looks up at the sky through the glass windows, then over at the chair by the little waterfall in the corner. "That man was there again. He was sitting in that chair, trying to make me come to him. But you weren't there this time. You weren't there, but I could feel your presence. There was another thing, a new thing this time." Amelia squints at the chair again, trying to recall the strange object. "I don't know what it was, only that it was like a big and blue box." She stops when she hears Vastra gasp softly.

"I know who the man is." She interrupts and grabs Amelia's arm to pull her to the chair. "His name is the Doctor, and he's not a bad guy. He can help you. He's coming." She hugs Amelia tightly, then runs upstairs.

Two hours later, and Vastra gives up on waiting. She realizes that he might not even show up until she's dead. She goes back into the green house. As she enters, she sees Amelia staring in awe at the corner of the room, bucket of water on the floor. Vastra comes forward to see the Doctor staring at Amelia in confusion.

"Who's that?" He asks, but shakes his head. "Never mind. Get Jenny and come with me. Quickly.

"Doctor-" Vastra starts, but decides not to tell him yet. She grabs Amelia's arm and pulls her into the TARDIS sitting in the corner by the chair. The smell of the TARDIS floods her nose, and she closes her eyes, smiling.

She turns to see Amelia looking around the room, almost choking she's so speechless.

"It's alright dear, it's just the TARDIS. You're safe, nothing can happen." She holds Amelia in her arms.

The Doctor looks at the two of them in confusion.

"It appears we have some catching up to do." Vastra looks at the Doctor with a slight bit of hatred, but shifts her gaze to Amelia and continues to comfort her. Then she notices Amy and Rory standing next to River Song.

AHHh finally! I'm so sorry for the long wait! I know there are lots of typos, I was trying to get this posted as soon as possible. If you notice any mistakes, I wouldn't mind if you pointed them out, just nothing mean.

What do you think? Shall I continue? Should I restart and come up with a completely new idea? Please tell me what you think, and your predictions. I love to hear what you guys have to say.

Next chapter won't be up for a while (If I decide to make one) because of personal events. I still love cover, so if you feel like you have a good cover idea, show me! I would love a new cover.

Thank you all so much for adding this to your reading lists and voting. I appreciate it! Keep up the awesome comments.
