Chapter 3

K I R A

I sit on my small sized bed as I wait for a call from Dan, my thoughts everywhere.

What if he's mad I kissed him?

What if he doesn't wanna be my friend?

What if he likes me and I get scared and run off?

What if he---

Ding!

I run downstairs and open the door to reveal the man himself-- Dan.

I smile bright and hug him standing on my tippy toes.

D A N

She stands on her tippy toes and hugs me.

I smile and bury my face into the crook of he neck.

She giggles and stops hugging me backing away.

I look down at her still smiling.

I sit on the couch next to her and she starts talking, breaking the silence.

"How are you?"

"Fine.." I reply looking down.

(It gets soppy right here I didn't realize it until I stopped crying)

Kira starts tearing up.

"Whoa, Kira what's up?" I ask wrapping my arms around her protectively.

She pushes me off and runs up the stairs slamming her door behind her.

I hear a lock and understand.

I don't care if she's crying.. I'm here for her.

I run up there and bang on the door.

"Kira open this door! Now!"

Trigger Warning: Blood, Violence, etc.

I push the door open with all my might to see a huge trail of blood leading to the bathroom.

No..

"KIRA!" I nearly scream running to the bathroom revealing a Kira on the floor with a knive and blood on her wrist, with the bathtub running.

Tears start streaming down my face.

I don't hesitate the first thing I do is call 911.

I'm currently crying in the waiting room.

The nurse calls me in.

I walk in to see a Kira sitting there smiling holding her arms open.

Thank goodness she's alive..
