School stinks

Lily smiled across at her friends.
"Have you learnt your lines yet?" They were two weeks into rehearsals. The show was drawing ever nearer. Lily felt nervous, although she hid it. She was in a tiny role in the chorus, but she still got stage fright. She wanted to back out but she didn't want to seem like a chicken.
"Most of them," Jess said, leaning back on her chair. She was the part of the Wolf, a main character. Lily thought she was incredible, marching around the stage and threatening people.
Much better than you.
The thought crept up on her and shook her. She realised it was true. She knew it. Everyone knew it.
So why was it bothering her so? It wasn't like she was suited for a main part. She got stage fright!
She tried to shake off the bitter thoughts and stood up.
"I'll be right back." She took off, not waiting for someone to question her. She didn't understand what was happening to her. She was not a jealous or envious person usually. She didn't even like drama all that much. She felt a hand on her shoulder.
"You alright?" It was Sandi. She smiled back.
"Yeah, fine. Have we got any homework that I'm forgetting?"

"Lily! Wrong side!" She cringed and felt the red spread up her cheeks. She hated being told off. She shuffled across the stage and stood behind everyone. She wanted to disappear. She wanted to quit this stupid play. But she couldn't. The show was in only two weeks and the teacher wouldn't allow it. The music started playing and Lily moved her lips, pretending. After a long hour, they were let out. Jess immediately went live on YouNow. Lily cringed away. She got out her book and began her homework with Sandi. About half an hour later she got a ton of notifications on her phone. Putting away her finished homework, she checked her phone. It was all kik notifications. She saw some from Jess within it. She found the chat and muted it.
"What's this Jess?" Jess gasped.
"Oh, sorry! This is a group chat with some of my followers. You might want to mute it."
"I have."
"It'll die down a bit soon. You can say stuff too." She looked at the name of the chat.
"It's lit,"
Lily shrugged and sent a message.
"Hi."
Immediately there were replies.
"Hi Lily!"
"Hey"
"hOI"
She felt slightly gratified, although that feeling made her feel guilty. She plugged her phone in and went to sleep.
