Wotcher! I'm starting a new story 'cause I had a massive burst of inspiration the other day and I wrote it down in the form of this chapter and I was like, "Hey, that's not bad!" So I've decided to use it as my second story. Hopefully this will get a good amount of publicity as well. :)

Tell me what you think down below! Please! (Personally, I like this one better than PLPL, but I love that one too XD)

Any-whoville,

On with the story!

Prologue: Dr. B's Mystery Potion, 2 for the Price of 1 (you'll get it after you read)

“Ow! Watch it man,” one henchman hissed to another, shoving him roughly.

“You watch it, man. I’m sick of you stepping all over my damn  toes,” the other replied, sliding the fake lab access card into his pocket.

“Who says I’m the one stepping all over your toes, man. You’d better watch your back.”

“No, you better watch your back.”

“Can both of you just shut up!” Jayden Lojen whispered, tip-toeing through the empty lab.

They ignored him and continued shoving each other until they both ended up on the ground their faces smeared with a thick white paste that smelled like motor oil but had the consistency of ketchup.

“Ew, dude.”

“Ew, yourself, dude.”

“That’s it,” Jayden said turning around and crossing his arms over his chest. “You two still want in on this mission?” he threatened.

“Hey, man, cool it.” One held up his hands, palms up and out.

“Yeah, we were just messing around.”

He rolled his eyes and ignored them, delving further into the lab, toward his goal; Dr. Barnaby’s lab station. The lowdown at his father’s house was that Dr. B had invented a concoction overnight and wouldn’t share it with anybody. He was still perfecting it, he said, but Jayden’s father knew better.

Having been in jail twice, arrested and tried seven times, beaten and divorced four wives – including Jay’s  mother – and forcing his son to steal at an early age, Jayden’s father, Damien Lojen, could only be described as evil. His soul was as black as his heart and his mind was cunning and dangerous. From an early age, Jayden’s father had developed a rich taste for money. He had made it his life’s work to earn as much as he could, even if his ways weren’t exactly ethical.

And even now, Damien was always eager for more money, despite the fact that he was sitting on a fortune even Hollywood’s biggest stars couldn’t match. He was filthy, stinking rich, and he was going to stay that way for the rest of his life.

Jayden regarded his father in the highest contempt possible. He didn’t think he could hate anyone more than he could his father, but there was nothing he could do about it. He just obeyed his father and waited for him to die so he could inherit the fortune. He had contemplated killing his father himself several times, but the boy’s father was too smart. He didn’t trust anyone, even he own son. Which was rather clever, considering the fact that Jayden day-dreamed about killing his father on a daily basis.

But none of that mattered to Damien. All Jayden’s father wanted was money. And lots of it.

Unfortunately, Jayden hadn’t been told exactly what the concoction would do, just that it was dangerous in the hands of a small boy like himself. His father told him to get it and get out quickly, be Jayden was pretty sure curiosity would get the best of him.
