Here is to chapter 2 because I am super excited to be back and writing! Let me know what you think about this chapter! I will have Ch 3 up tomorrow or Saturday! Enjoy!

"Honey we're leaving for the store now. Are you sure you don't want to go with us?" My mom said grabbing her purse from the table and slinging it around her shoulder.

"Yeah. I think I'll stay here."  I said lounging on the couch with my head in my phone just scrolling through pointless social media accounts.

"Alright. We will be back in a couple of hours " My mom said.

"Bye dear. Maybe go for a walk to clear your head," My dad said smiling and kissing my forehead, then leading my mom out of the door. He knew I had yet again another nightmare about driving off of a bridge. This time I screamed so loud that I woke up my dad. Well he claims he was asleep but I think he was awake. I know they are worried about me because I could hear them whispering about me last night in the den.

Turns out they want to send me to a therapist. Its not like I want to commit suicide or am depressed. I just keep having the same nightmare but I mean I jolt awake before I actually fall into the frozen water. So that is good, as those old stories say if you don't walk up your usually dead. That feeling of falling. It is truly scary.

I sighed.  Maybe I should actually should go for a walk. Like my dad said clear my mind. Maybe I will walk to the park. maybe?Why the hell not, I have been sitting on this couch all afternoon anyway. I sigh as I roll myself off the couch. I jog upstairs to switch out of my pajamas.

I go up to my room to put my favorite purple sports bar.  Throw on a large sweatshirt that I have had forever.  Quickly throw my hair up into a bun. I call it good, when I look at myself in the mirror. Looking at myself in the mirror I had dark circles under my eyes, and some red spots on my face. I was not perfect, I have just need to learn how to sleep at night.  I slip my phone in my side pocket of my leggings. I grab my headphones on the table next to my bed.

I write a quick note on the counter for my parents.  Sometimes I lose myself in my music and time. Then my parents get home and freak out because I am nowhere to be found.

I make my way out of the door, just admiring all the beauty outside in the summertime. Sometimes I think I spend way to much time alone.  You probably think I have no friends, well jokes on you, Ashley is my best friend, shes on vacation with her family she comes home in a couple of weeks. I really cannot wait until she is back since her family took her to the boonies, with no cell service. I finally sit down on a park bench to rest my legs.

Remembering the first I sat here with my dad.

~~~~Flash back~~~~~~~
"Daddy!! You can't catch me!!" I said giggling running to the slide. Of course my four year old legs weren't fast enough, and my dad caught me.
"I got you, Em" he said picking me up and twirling me around. I giggled.
"Daddyyyyy!!!"
My dad chuckled as he sent me down on the park bench, then sat down right but to me and then wrapped his arm around my small body. I snuggled up to the side of his body.
"Baby, daddy needs to tell you something." He said kissing my cheek.
"What daddy?" I said looking up at him with my big chocolate eyes.
He said and ran his fingers through his hair, "daddy... Is going to have to go away for awhile soon."
"Like on vacation?" I asked. My eyes glimmering looking at my dad.
