~3rd P.O.V.~

It had been a couple of months since the Cullens left and everybody was happy besides one person.... Edward Cullen. He was stuck inside his mind that was full of self pity and longing for his mate. These feelings seemed to be literally eating away inside of him and was affecting his looks and even his hunting habits. He had moved to Rome to be out of the country just to make his urge to back to her lessen but it only seemed to be going the opposite for him.

Everything seemed to be going from bad to worse until they finally bet, but not fully meaning to.

~Edward's P.O.V.~

I felt a weird pull to go to the park and as the pull only got stronger he finally decided to just go and see what needed to be seen. When he got to the park he sat on a bench under the tree. The park wasn't that occupied today mainly for the fact that it was cloudy and most people especially in Rome like to stay inside when such rare weather accusers. I was sitting there for about an hour until I saw something no someone that I never knew existed.

~Mystery Person P.O.V.~

I finished getting dressed before walking out of my apartment across the street to the park like I usually do ever since I graduated. As I walked into the park and was continuing to my usual bench which is the only one in at least a block range when I saw somebody sitting there. As I looked at the man that looked no older the 18 but I knew that he was something different, a vampire but I shrugged it off and continued to my usual bench. I sat down on the bench and waited for a minute before turning to the person that occupied the other side of the bench.

"Hello I am Nicole Acquafredda but you can call me Cola, and you are?" I ask while giving a smile that he returns.

"Edward Cullen, pleasure to meet you."

"And you. I haven't seen you here before are you new here?"

"Yes I just moved here from America, I needed to get away from some problems." He says while looking down and I know that he is lying a little but I shake if off.

"Well what ever the problem is I am sure that once you go back you will have a clearer head then when you left."

"I am sure of that also. So do you live around here?"

"I live across the street."

"Do you come here often?"

"Yeah ever since I graduated high school and decided not to go to college I come here every day." I say while leaning back on the bench.

"Ah, well I would do the same if I was in your position." He says and I laugh a little.

"I only with that my Mother and Step-Father would agree also, they think that it is foolish that I decided not to go to college even though I find no use especially not now."

"Why do you say that?" Edward asks and I lean in and whisper.

"Water keep me young while blood keeps you sane, I don't age anymore so what is the point in going to college right now when I have forever?" I say and he looks at me in shock but it quickly passes over.

"The experience maybe and so you don't have to listen to your parents nag you?"

"I haven't told them that I live forever because then I would have to explain everything to my Step-Father, Step-Brother and Half-Sister which is something that Nick and I don't want to do. Chances are my Step-Father would leave my Mother and I can't allow that to happen she seems so happy now."

"And I am sure that she would be grateful towards you for that."

"Thank you Edward." I say with a smile.

"Your welcome. I know that this might be to soon but would you like to go on a date with me?"

"I would love to." I say while digging my phone out of my pocket and handing it to him. "Put your # in while I put mine in yours and we can work out a time." I say and he nod and we exchange numbers. "Well it was nice meeting you but I have to go." I say standing up and he does the same. "It was nice meeting you Edward and I can't wait for our date."

"I agree, how about I meet you here at 6:20 tonight right here and we can go and get some dinner."

"That would be great. I will see you then. Till then."

"Till then." Edward says while sitting back down on the bench while I walked away back to my apartment.
