As Micah followed Gaius out of the room, she noticed something around his ankle. It was, from what she could see, tight on him and had a few chains coming off of it making a dragging noise as they walked. When they made it to the end of the hallway, and top of the stairs, Micah stopped next to Gaius.

"Alright," Gaius whispered "You take the lead, like i said before, take the both of us somewhere the human won't find or hear us."

"Ok... but what about that thing on your foot?" Micah pointed her tail at Gaius's fancy leg bracelet.

He looked at it and covered it with his tail "It's nothing, now hurry up before-" There where foot steps echoing down the hallway of wooden floors. It was defiantly Amy.

Gaius heard them first and turned quickly in a panic to get away, resulting in him tripping and tumbling down the stairs, until she heard a thud, indicating that he it the bottom. Suppressing a laugh, Micah quickly ran down the stairs, and making sure not to meet the same fate as Gaius had.

Micah heard her owner call from upstairs. "Micah? Is that you? Come here please." She sounded a little bit desperate for Micah to listen and come to her, a bit too desperate. As much as she waned to listen to her owner, she was more curious about who Gaius was and everything about him. Besides, he was the only person Micah has talked to in forever. Sure she had Amy, but it was mostly Amy talking to her and nodding her head in response. There wasn't a better feeling then being able to respond, and use all the clever comebacks shes come up with.

When Micah got to the bottom of the stairs she saw Gaius sitting down licking his ruffled fur down, and quickly stood back up at the sight of Micah. "Um... pretend that didn't happen," He looked uncomfortable "Quick, shes coming." And with that Micah kept going.

Around the corner of the stairs was a bunch more boxed filled with packing peanuts, or as Micah called them "Pink puffy things." With Amys foot steps becoming louder and quicker, Micah shoved some boxes out of the way and revealed a crack in the wall. It was big enough to fit about the size of Amys head, and nothing else. Clumsy shoving Gaius towards the hole, turning around and kicking the boxes back into there some-what original places, she turned her head around to see Amy slowly walking down the stairs carrying a big box in her arms.

"H-hey there Micah..." She grunted as the reached the bottom of the stairs. "Theres something I need to ask you." Amy set down the box next to the front door and walked towards the living room.

"Gaius, I'll come back later ok? Stay here?" Without waiting for a response, she bolted after Amy.

Amy didn't really say anything important. She only asked what Micah wanted from the store but other then that, she didn't seem to notice her sneaking around.

For the rest of the day Micah distracted Amy with anything, and she ment anything. Sometimes she would drag Amy into another room to show her something random, or complain about the litter box smelling up the whole house, or just straight up do a dance. Although Micah still can't speak human very well, she pointed and whined and tried not to use the few words she could speak, since Micah didn't have lips.

After an tiring day chasing around a hyperactive human, Micah plopped down on the dining room floor. She watched as Amy struggled to make dinner for herself and Micah. She moved some stuff around at one part of the kitchen, then ran to the other side and moved some more stuff and poured and mixed and what not. All of it making poor Micah confused.

"Micah, have you seen that grey dog all day today?" Micahs blood ran cold. Amy hadn't turned and look at her, she was still "creating" dinner. The pink dog had forgotten all about Gaius. Quickly and quietly, Micah got up from the floor, her bones acing, and crept out of the kitchen, back into the main room, pushed the boxed out of the way, and squeezed through the small hole, remembering to move the boxed back so Amy couldn't see inside.

Gaius jolted awake, "took you long enough" Micah could barely see in the darkness of the small space but she knew what it was like, and it had a few items in it.
