Chapter 1

*** Ariana's P.O.V ***

I woke up to the smell of Pancakes filling my room. I got up slowly and walked to the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth eager to get downstairs to find out whats cooking. I practically run down the stairs almost tripping on my robe and I found my Brother Frankie making pancakes and scrambled eggs.

" Whats up Frankie? " I ask eagerly wanting to grab a pancake. I reach for one and He swats my hand with the warm spatula.

" Oh no your not! Not until Im done cooking. " He says going back to flipping the pancake.

" Come on Frankie. Cant I just have one pancake? Just one? " I ask, well I beg.

" No. Besides, you know ma's rule, "

" We eat as a family, I know I know. " I said rolling my eyes. I decided to go back upstairs to take a shower. I took a nice 10 minute shower then dried myself off and got dressed. I decided on wearing my light blue high waist jeans and a peach colored crop top that says " Love " with my hot pink converse. I curled my hair with my thick curling iron and toped off my look with a hot pink bow. I added some foundation and some marscara on my face to look presentable. After I felt satisfied with my look, I went downstairs yet another time to find my mom sitting at the table with Frankie scarfing down some pancakes and bacon. My mother elegantly took a sip of her coffee then smiled a tired smile.

" Good morning sweaty. please sit down with us and enjoy this delightful breakfast Frankie has prepared for us. " She smiled once again gestering the spot next to her for me to sit.

" Sure thing ma " I smiled big. She giggled a bit due to my response. I grabbed my plate and a cup and stacked my plate up with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I poured myself some orange juice and took the seat next to my mother.

" So sweaty. Are you nervous? " She asked taking a bite out of her pancake.

" Nervous for what? " I said taking a sip of my orange juice.

" Nervous for your Audition for chase records today? " She said smiling widely.( Pretend its chase records ) oops I forgot all about that.

" Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Im exited. Hopefully I don't blow my chance. " I said feeling the butterflies in my stomach start to flutter around.

" your gonna do great sis. I know you will. Remember, You are a Grande. " Frankie said smiling.

" Thanks " I returned the smile. After finishing my food, I got up, grabbed my bag and went outside where my boyfriend jai was sitting in his car jamming out to music.

" Hey babe. " He said winking at me.

I giggled a bit and passed him my bag so he can put it in the back. I got in the car and we started the 15 minute drive to school. The whole ride to school, we jammed out to Drake, One direction, Demi Lovato, and Justin Beiber. We got to school 20 minutes before the warning bell rings.

As we walk to our lockers, I try starting small talk.

" I might be leaving early today. " I said smiling due to the chase thing.

" Oh why? " He says plainly.

" My audition for chase records is today, remember? " I said getting a bit annoyed.

" Oh that's cool. " He says plainly once again.

" Are'nt you happy for me? " I said a bit louder than I should've.

" Calm down. your gonna make a scene. " I cant believe he just said that.

" Whats your problem? " He says coldly.
