my army

Like through water I see my hands leading the pen. I don't know where the words are coming from. Although I am sitting on my bed I am gliding into another world. All I can see is darkness, an evil darkness, I can feel the heat of flames of anger coming closer, burning my skin. Since there is no one protecting me from the fire I lean into the blade, its saving doors closing behind me like a safe fortress, banning the anger, the deadly enemy. Inside I can rule again, I have go the power back, my army fighting against the claws of anger outside, my soldiers are my skin, the weapons my blood. I am sitting safe inside my castle, I don't feel the pain of dying soldiers, I am just a watching ruler not caring about the loss of my army. A calming satisfaction is over coming me, deliberately overlooking the mess of weapons and soldiers I see the flames and claws gone, the enemy seem defeated.

Breathing out I realize I see the words clearly again, noticing I am back on my bed when the pain on my bleeding arms hits me.
