He walks casually into the room and sits down beside a guy, they share a weird hand shake; the whole bro drama clearly says that they are friends, and close ones.

"Hey newbie, I wouldn't stare that much if I were you, he's taken and his girlfriend is not someone you want to have problems with. Trust me on this one" The words of the girl sitting behind me knock me out from dream land, and I stare at her for what seems to me like an eternity, trying to comprehend what she just said, when my mental abilities are back; I finally respond.

"Thanks but I'm not looking at him like that; I think he's an old friend of mine" I explain, not exactly the truth but still close enough. He's not an "old friend" he's my first crush ever.

"Okay, but I still think you shouldn't stare, see the girl sitting right behind him, that's his girlfriend's devil of a best friend, if she catches you looking looking, and it totally seemed like you were; you'll be in big trouble" She warns me, I look at the girl she mentioned, and see a cute looking girl with pale skin and dark hair, she's really pretty and she looks nice.

Nevertheless, I just nod my head at the stranger and thank her again, when she sits back in her seat, the teacher finally grants us with his presence. And it's time to learn.

Once the class is over, I don't even finish gathering my stuff that James is out of the classroom; I haven't even decided whether I was going to talk to him or not, but I feel disappointed that he's out of reach. Yet again.

I leave the classroom and go to the cafeteria for lunch, I can't meet with Jude today, she has a class while I'm free and I have a class when she'll be free.

I buy a muffin along with a can of coke, and then take a seat at a table. I check my phone and find a message from Adam:

Hey cuttie, I forgot to ask you 'how are you' after you ate ;)

I think about his question, the right answer would be 'as confused as ever' but I can't tell him that, he's being so sweet to me; and I'm letting an old meaningless story ruin my whole life. I take my phone back in my hands and type a reply:

I was super giddy after I ate mister, now I'm eating lunch alone though :/

His reply was quick to come:

Yeah I can see you from where I stand, want me to join?

Confused, I look around the cafeteria but the blond remains unfound. I reply:

Where are you? You're welcomed to come...

When I look up from my phone, I find Adam standing right in front of me with a sheepish grin.

"What the..? Do you teleport or something?" He just laughs and takes a seat across from me, ignoring my comment; he eyes my untouched muffin and takes a bite from it. "I never agreed to always share my food with you"

"You can't eat a muffin for lunch, it's not healthy" He states, mouth full of the delicious pastry, my delicious pastry.

"I can eat whatever I want, whenever I want" I huff, crossing my arms childishly.

"But if I eat it, you can't" He finishes my muffin, and smiles; looking all smug.

"Shut up, I'm going to starve now!" I open my can and take a sip, to be honest I'm not even that hungry.

"Puh-lease, like I would let you starve" He doesn't even give me a chance to reply; he gets up and goes to the food line. Five minutes later, he comes back with a huge plate of fries with melted cheese and a huge plate of chicken nuggets; he places them on the table and sits back down. "Here you go, pouting queen. Don't starve" I eye the piles of food and look at him with what I assume is a funny expression, because he cracks a smile.
