Chapter 7- Always In Trouble
Belle was surrounded. At least four men had her on the floor. She was pushed against a wall on her knees, her eyes wide with fear. To my surprise her hair was now back to normal, long and blonde. I must've entered really quietly because she didn't avert her gaze from the men standing above her.
"What, no welcomin'? Why're ya so surprised? I told ya I'd get ya back for what you did to me, and here I am," A large man spoke. But Belle stayed silent. I could gave sworn she was shaking. I decided to wait in the shadows, and see what would happen.
"Shame," The same man said. "I was hoping we could pick up where we left off, but as you want to do this the hard way..."
The other four men all laughed coldly, in unison. They began getting closer and closer to her, and she looked more and more helpless. One man grabbed her hair and pulled her up by it, making her release a squeal of pain. Another man then slapped her across the cheek as the man who spoke walked closer. The other men held Belle still, as the large guy roughly began to kiss her, causing her to jerk her head back, straight into the wall. She turned her head to the side to avert his lips, but then one of the men slapped her hard around the other side of her face. By this time, two men were holding her still, one was abusing her, and the other was trying to sexually harass her. He began to tug roughly at her clothes as she struggled beneath the grip of the other men.
"Oi," I shouted loudly, causing the five faces to snap towards me.
"What?" The large one replied turning away from Belle and looking towards me. Belle looked grateful as I walked closer.
"It looks like you're forcing her to do something she doesn't want to do," I replied, thinking of the irony of the comment.
"So what if we were, it's none of your business," He replied gruffly.
"I think it is."
"How is it?"
"Because that is my fiancé."
"Fiancé?!" The man choked.
"Yes, that's what I said you deaf bastard."
"Well, that's big talk coming from a man with no back up. Belle's mine anyway," He stated walking closer towards me.
"I think she disagrees."
Deciding the time for talking was over, I walked closer to the man and sent him a punch in the jaw, causing him to fall back in surprise. As he recovered I kicked him in the chin and the stomach, making him slightly winded for a second. Using the delay to my advantage, I ran over to Belle and roughly shot a punch in one of the men's heads, knocking the clean out. The other two were now fully aware what was happening and began attacking me. A fist connected with my ribs as I tried to knee one of the men. I staggered backwards slightly, but knew I was strong enough to defeat them. The one who punched me swiftly received a punch to his nose, making a satisfying cracking noise. He was then lying on the floor, clutching his nose. By this time, Belle had moved over to near the door. Oddly enough, she didn't leave as I thought she would. She just stood here, looking at me helplessly. Before I could shout anything to her, I felt a stabbing pain in the back of my head. I fell forwards, putting my hands out just in time to break the fall. I rolled onto my back in time to see a fist flying into my face. I felt a sharp pain in my jaw, as another blow was delivered to my stomach. I punched back in defensive, resulting in a crashing noise. Trying to stand up, I was kicked backwards by one of the two men.
"This'll teach you to try and take my Belle," The man said roughly, as he took his arm backwards.
But the pain never came. Something was thrown across the room and straight into the man. I managed to gain my balance and stand up. One of the men was now against the wall, whilst the other had someone onto of them. It took me a minute to realise it was in fact Belle that went flying across the room. I ran over to her, but the man roughly held her hair.
