Chapter 9

Lamia's POV:

Like last time, there is a murderer in our group, but this time him/her killed two of our friends, Lan and Virginia...

Although they might not be here in person, they are counting on us to bring whomever it is to justice.

We all walked to our assigned podiums, as Johnson sat at his judges chair grabbing his gavel.

"You all should know this by now, the murderer is one of you, and it is your job to find out whom, you know what would happen if you get it wrong... so let's not waste time, All Rise!" He said banging his gavel.

"So where do we start?" Jasmine said.

"Maybe the murder weapon?" Angel answered with another question.

"Well according to the Johnson file, Lan died from a blow to the right temple, while Virginia died from an Allergic reaction." Francisco answered, "They both died relatively close to each other with a 5-ish minute time gap, and for those who did not read the File, these notes should more than confirm it." He said pulling out the two notes.

"Hey Lan, meet me at the Art room, there is something I need to discuss with you...meet me there in 10 minutes after the morning announcement- From Virginia." Francisco said.

"Okay, how and how?" Michelle asked.

"Well judging by how one of the hammers was wet, I bet that was used to hit Lan." Mireya answered.

"As for Virginia..." Francisco said pulling out a half eaten doughnut.

"This pineapple doughnut was probably used for Virginia." He said as Jasmine looked at him wide eyed.

"How did you get that?!" She asked.

"It was in Virginia's Pocket... Jasmine did you make this?" Francisco asked as she started to sweat.

"W-well yes I did..." She admitted.

"Well that settles it then right?" Adriana asked, "I mean she fed Virginia the doughnut which killed her since she is allergic, and she somehow killed Lan." She added.

"Yeah that makes sense right..." Muhammad said as Hifsa nodded.

"Yeah then we should vote right?" Hifsa asked as she looked at Johnson.

"No I don't think that's a smart idea." Francisco said.

"Don't you think so Lamia?" He asked me.

"Why me?" I asked as he tilted his head.

"Well don't you think it's strange that Jasmine is being pointed to as the killer... doesn't she have a witness? Nudge Nudge Wink Wink?" He said as I gave what he said some thought.

"Oh yeah, she was with Mireya and Angel this morning." I said.

"Oh yeah... then why didn't you guys say anything?" Jasmine said as they looked at each other.

"Well you were not entirely with us." Angel said as we looked at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well when we exited our rooms, Jasmine said she forgot something and walked back into her room, the last time we saw her was when she came right before Francisco." He admitted.

"Well care to explain yourself Jasmine?" Michelle asked as she shook her head in defense.

"Angel you yourself should know I went in my room to grab my doughnuts I made for everyone." Jasmine rebutted.

"Really, what doughnuts did you make?" Muhammad asked.

"Well Pineapple doughnuts, I baked them last night for all of you as a surprise." She said pulling out a container out of nowhere.
