Chapter 12

Lamia's POV:

I woke up to Johnson's announcement, like always I hopped into the shower, and went to the dining hall.

When I got there and saw the group sitting in the dining hall, something finally hit me.

There are only 7 of us left... out of the 16 that was here first, we then ate our breakfast in silence...sad silence.

Afterwards we were told by Francisco that since there was murder there is a new floor, he told us to break off into groups same as always, since there was an odd number Francisco went off exploring by himself again.

Like last time we split into groups.

Angel with Jasmine.

Michelle with Mireya.

I am left with an emotionally unstable Hifsa, maybe I can make her feel better or something...

As I walked up to her Francisco came back and walked up to me.

"Hey Lamia do you mind exploring by yourself today, I'll take care of Hifsa." He said.

"Well okay." I said as he walked over to Hifsa.

'What's up with him?' I thought as I shrugged it off and went off to explore on my own.

After walking up 4 floors, what I'd give for an elevator... I finally made it to the 5th floor.

"Haah, man what I'd wish for an elevator." I complained as Johnson appeared.

"Listen so I couldn't afford elevators, you can only buy so much." He said as I looked at him like he was an idiot.

"But you can afford all this other stuff" I said as he hung his head.

"A-anyway, time to tell you some new info." He said as I looked at him.

"Well... go on." I said as he nodded and leaned in.

"Actually...I'll tell you later, see ya kid." He said as he disappeared... well that was a huge waste of time.

As I stood there Francisco with his textbook in hand and Hifsa came out of one of the nearby classrooms.

"Oh hey Lamia." Francisco and Hifsa said, 'Huh... Hifsa sounds better now, he's really good at cheering people up.' I thought.

"Hey guys." I said as they turned around to look at the room they just exited.

"What's up?" I ask as they turned towards me.

"Well we explored that room there was nothing much in there just 3 boxes full of papers and pencils...weird." Hifsa said.

"There was nothing else except a random broken stick with four faces on it... weird, anyway that's pretty much it have fun with your search." Francisco said as he and Hifsa walked away.

I shook my head and walked around, there was a few classrooms, but the main room of interest was the giant botanical garden.

"Wow..." I said as I was taken by surprise when I was greeted by a bunch of exotic plants and flower breeds.

The main focus was a giant plant in the middle or the room.

I instinctively walked towards it until Johnson appeared and pushed me back.

"Don't get close that's my new breed of fly trap, it can eat anything that gets too close." He said as I looked at him in disbelief.

He took note and pulled out a giant drumstick which I assume was in his...I don't wanna know where he had that actually.
